Western Australian Designer Fashion Swept Shanghai

More than 150 local and international guests gathered in Shanghai International Fashion Center today to witness the launching ceremony of the "sand dunes" - the Western Australian fashion designers' joint exhibition. The joint exhibition will be exhibited here until October 24th.

The Western Australian costume designer joint exhibition is also one of the official activities of the "2010 Shanghai Fashion Week" held on -24 October 19th. It will show some of the most brilliant designers and fashion designers in Western Australia, such as Aurelio Costarella, Aelkemi, Megan Salmon, Antipodium, Stand, United Constructions and The The & amp; Another highlight of the fashion show is that it will showcase a series of design garments designed by the Curtin University and the Western Australian Department of agriculture and food (DAFWA), the wool texture project, and a series of costumes designed by students of the Curtin School of design and art.

The West Australian designer fashion show, while displaying the unique charm of Western Australian designer fashion, will also be an opportunity to further develop professional cooperation between China and Australia, and deepen exchanges between Shanghai and Perth institutions, as well as artists and designers in fashion, education and culture. Building long-term and lasting cooperation with Shanghai fashion week organizers and art education institutions to promote cultural exchanges between the two sides is the long-term goal of Anne Farren, fashion show project manager and fashion Dean of Curtin University School of design.
