The large-scale production of antibacterial series fabrics has aroused great concern from all walks of life.

Donghua University shows underwear, T-shirt, knitted sweater, socks, kneecap and other nano knitted products.

It is reported that because of the nano silver attached to the fiber, these fabrics have broad spectrum antibacterial effect. The test shows that after 50 standard washing, the antibacterial effect of the fabric is over 99%.

At present, "looking at the eyes, wearing skin friendly, feeling comfortable" antibacterial function of moisture absorption and sweating of pure polyester, polyester / cotton and polyester / Modal fabric, has achieved finished production, and its related indicators have also reached the national highest level AAA standard.

As of September this year, the technology achievement has been promoted and applied in related enterprises. The 14 series products developed include 4 major categories, including powder, fiber, yarn and fabric, with a cumulative output value of 50 million yuan.

Min Guoquan, director of the nanoscale center of the Shanghai science and Technology Commission, said that the application of new materials represented by nanomaterials has been included in the newly developed industries.
