    Under the guidance of the "famous brand driving strategy", the small and medium enterprises in Houjie have carefully built their own brands. 130 foreign-invested enterprises in the town have their own brands. Houjie has ranked the first in Dongguan for 3 consecutive years, and the number of famous brand names at the provincial level has reached 43.

    From January to September this year, a total of 39 processing enterprises in the town were pformed into "three funds", which paved the way for enterprises to create brands and explore the domestic market. Since 2008, a total of 60 raw materials processing enterprises have successfully completed the pformation in situ.

    The promotion of brand has won the domestic market for Houjie enterprises.

    From January to September, 65 foreign-funded enterprises expanded domestic sales, and the total domestic sales amounted to 4 billion 254 million yuan, an increase of 37.04% over the same period last year.


    Set up "six customs" to prevent recurrence

    In Li Huiqin's view, promoting industrial pformation and upgrading is not a "expedient measure" to cope with the financial crisis, but a long-term strategy to decide the future development direction of Houjie. It is a protracted war and a tough battle.


    In order to prevent the traditional development model from "rising" when the economy is improving, Houjie Town has issued relevant measures in a timely manner since the beginning of last year, setting up the "six points" such as "site certification" and so on, and strictly preventing the return of the traditional mode.

    Since March this year, there are nearly 100 investment projects in Houjie because they can not meet the requirements and have been declined.


    Li Huiqin said that only by persevering in advancing industrial pformation and upgrading, and cultivating and introducing a number of new and high-tech enterprises and emerging industries, Houjie could truly form a new industrial cluster path with structural optimization and achieve a "new economy" with independent innovation and low carbon and environmental protection.
