At the meeting, Wang Tiankai, vice president of China Textile Industry Association, put forward suggestions on the development of Xi'an modern textile industrial park.

He said that Xi'an had been a famous textile industrial base in the whole country and made a great contribution to the economic development of Xi'an and even the whole province. He suggested that Xi'an Textile Industrial Park should make full use of and learn from the successful experience of first-class parks at home and abroad, adhere to the tenet of "developing hi-tech and realize cluster", and strive to develop new textile industry with high added value, high growth and high technology content, and form a leading industrial cluster in the field of fashion textile, special textile, exhibition and sales, and become the leading textile research and development base and the leading zone of industrial pformation and development in the whole country.

He hoped that the national textile industry should further change its mode of development, build a harmonious labor relationship, adhere to independent innovation, and continuously strengthen its innovative capabilities in textile technology, equipment and management, and strive to promote scientific and technological progress and industrial upgrading of the industry so as to realize the pformation of China's textile industry from a big textile country to a textile power.
