However, the core competitiveness of the industry is still not strong, the overall quality of the enterprises is not high, and the ability to resist economic risks is weak. Due to the financial tsunami, the profitability of the enterprises has declined, and the development of the collective economy has slowed down.

The specific performance is: the scale of individual enterprises is generally small. In 2008, the total number of registered economic entities in our town amounted to 49204, of which 44121 were self-employed households. Only 10 million of the registered capital were only 480, and 171 of the enterprises with more than one million taxes were paid annually.

The ability of independent innovation of enterprises is relatively weak, and there are few enterprises with professional R & D institutions in the whole town, and the R & D investment of the enterprises is not large. In 2008, the proportion of industrial pformation investment accounted for 7.2% of industrial investment, ranking twenty-first in the whole city. The total number of talents is insufficient, especially the leading high-end talents and highly skilled talents are seriously inadequate. The competitiveness of products is weaker. Most of the enterprises are in the downstream of the industrial chain, in the low-end part of the high-end industry, the end products are few, and there is a lack of reasonable division of labor among enterprises.

Three, the leading industry has developed, but the new growth point has not yet formed.

At present, our town has developed clothing, pmission lines and other advantages industries, and has become the main driving force for economic and social development.

At present, there are nearly 1500 garment manufacturing enterprises in our town, more than 5000 registered trademarks, 15 billion annual sales of clothing industry, and more than 190 enterprises with upstream and downstream information pmission lines, with an annual production value of about 12000000000 yuan.

For example, the development of low consumption industries such as tourism culture, creative design, modern logistics and modern services in our town is slow, and fails to give full play to the strong historical and cultural details and the comparative advantages of prosperous commercial resources.

Two, we must establish clear development ideas.

The way of thinking determines the way out, and the way determines success or failure.

Train of thought: Based on the actual development of Humen's industry, we should promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial clusters, upgrade the advantages of the original industrial clusters, adjust and optimize the second industry, actively take the initiative to cut into the high-end links of domestic and foreign industrial chains, support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises with high added value and good growth, vigorously develop the private economy, increase the intensity of independent innovation, build local self owned brands and enhance the overall competitiveness of industries; vigorously develop the advanced manufacturing and hi-tech industries, accelerate the development of the third industry, expand and strengthen cultural tourism, business and trade, exhibition and creative industries, promote the interactive integration and coordinated development of the two or three industries, promote the pformation of industrial clusters into brand clusters and creative clusters, pform extensive extensive development to intensive and effective development, and build a modern industrial system with Humen characteristics.
