The brand fast marketing company was founded in 1963, when it was a small clothing store selling Western style clothes.
Liu Jing, the current chairman and general manager of the company, graduated from Waseda University economics school in August 1972. He entered fast selling company in September 1984 and became chairman and general manager in September 1984.
In 1982, Liu well, a company's professional director, was inspired by the warehouse sales method in the US campus when she was studying in the United States. After returning home, she proposed to try to sell clothes in the clothing store by self help shopping in the clothing store, and for the first time in Japan, she introduced the sales way of the hypermarket fashion, and realized the low cost of the store operation through the unique commodity planning, development and sales system.
In June 1984, the first UNIQLO store store was in store.

At that time, when the Japanese economy was in a recession, UNIQLO's strategy was to provide fashionable clothing for all consumers at a low price.
To gather popularity and attract customers, UNIQLO also provided a free breakfast for customers who came to shopping: bread and milk, which really attracted a large number of customers.
Every morning, a lot of people gathered in front of UNIQLO's shop, lined up for breakfast, and then entered the shop.
