Li Keqiang's Six Views On The Development Of China's Mining Industry And The World's Mining Cooperation

On November 16th, Vice Premier Li Keqiang of China on the 2010 China International Mining Conference Mining Development Six suggestions were put forward in collaboration with the world's mining industry.

　 　 Li Keqiang Indicate, enhance energy resources We must speed up sustainable development, increase environmental protection and resource conservation, and make better use of two domestic and foreign resources.

For the development of domestic mining market, Li Keqiang put forward three points.

First, we must persist in giving priority to saving and break the bottleneck of energy resources. Li Keqiang said that without saving resources and protecting the environment, economic development will be difficult to maintain. China is accelerating the transformation of its economic development mode.

Two, we will continue to base ourselves on the domestic level and improve the level of domestic resources protection. China is a large developing country, and we must tap domestic resources to the maximum extent. Li Keqiang said that at present, the level of resource exploration is relatively low, and the potential of prospecting is very huge. We will continue to improve the system and mechanism, and make use of resources at a high level to consolidate the guarantee base of domestic resources.

Three, opening wider to the outside world and opening to the outside world are China's unwavering national policies. Li Keqiang said that mineral resources were one of the earliest developed market areas in China. We continue to encourage foreign businessmen to invest in mineral resources exploration and development in China, and introduce advanced technology and management experience. At the same time, encourage domestic competitive enterprises to develop mining cooperation overseas to help local economy develop and improve people's livelihood.

Li Keqiang also made three suggestions on China's cooperation with the international mining industry.

First, deepen pragmatic cooperation. Li Keqiang said that the global distribution of mineral resources is uneven, and all countries should open up and adopt a pragmatic attitude and dialogue.

Two, implement common responsibilities. Li Keqiang said that mining industry is the support of economic development, and mining development is the guarantee of economic prosperity. The current trend of international mineral price monopoly has been strengthened, and the prices of some mineral products have increased considerably, which is not conducive to the recovery and development of the world economy. Li Keqiang believed that we should uphold the development with a rational vision, and both sides should take care of each other's price stability.

Three, promote sustainable development and protect the ecological environment.
