Compared with ordinary PU leather and PVC, the advantages of polyurethane superfine fiber synthetic leather are tear strength, high tensile strength, good folding resistance, good cold resistance, finished product is thick and full, simulation is good, and VOC (volatile organic compounds) content is low.

The disadvantages are heavier than ordinary synthetic leather, and the cost is higher.

Ordinary PU leather uses fabric as the base cloth, with poor simulation and folding resistance without synthetic microfiber leather, but it has low cost, light weight, convenient processing and variety.

PVC artificial leather contains chemical components (especially plasticizers) which are highly harmful to the human body. The VOC content is relatively high. It is easy to volatilize at high temperature. It has strong rubber feeling, no touch and feel of natural leather, poor simulation, but low cost and convenient processing.

Microfiber synthetic leather has many properties on natural leather, and even some physical and chemical properties are superior to natural leather. It can be comparable to natural leather in fullness and handle.

The source of natural leather is limited, and its quality varies with the origin and location of raw leather.

Natural leather has serious environmental pollution during processing, low yield and heavy weight, and easy to mold and rot.

The polyurethane microfiber has the advantages of light weight, good cutting performance, high automatic cutting, high yield, good resistance to mould, and better strength than natural leather.

The product has uniform texture, wide source, and small smell of finished products, but its handle, air permeability and fullness are inferior to natural leather.
