India'S Textile Strike Resulted In 2 Billion Rupee Losses
India textile enterprises nationwide strike resulted in 2 billion rupees' losses, and the textile factories in teh Rupp area lost about 400 million rupees due to the national strike. At present, the price of raw materials has increased, resulting in a reduction of 15-20% in manufacturing and 25000 workers' unemployment.
On Friday, the India textile industry held a nationwide strike calling for a ban on raw materials exports, including cotton and cotton yarns, and the manufacturing industry of the Rupp knitwear manufacturing center was at a standstill.
About 50000 workers fasting, 3000 textile enterprises, most of them are SMEs.
Tirup contributed more than 70% to India cotton knitted exports, which amounted to 2 billion US dollars. The cotton knitted industry is expected to grow by 12% annually. However, the price of raw materials is rising, which will inhibit the development of the cotton knitted industry. The Rupp textile industry has created about 600000 direct and indirect job opportunities.
