    US Import And Export Prices Continued To Rise In November.

    The US Labor Department said Friday that US import and export prices rose in November.

    The grid increased by 1.3% from last month.


    Fuel prices rose the most, rising by 3.7% in November, after climbing 3.8% in October.

    The price of natural gas fell for second consecutive months, offset some of the rise in oil prices.

    Natural gas prices fell 2.3% in October, down 3.8% again in November.


    Oil prices rose by 4.1%, pushing up overall energy prices.


    Export prices did not rise last month, up 1.5% in November, the biggest monthly increase since July 2008.


    Compared with last year, export prices rose 6.5%, the largest annual increase since September 2008.


    Prices of corn, cotton, soybeans and wheat rose in November 2010.

    The price of export increased by 21% compared with November 2009.

    Cotton prices rose 81.4% in a year and corn prices rose by 43.7%.

    Wheat prices rose by 40.1% and soybean prices rose by 19.3%.
