Dezhou Xiajin and Wucheng county are the traditional large cotton planting counties, accounting for about 60% of the cotton area of the whole city. According to the custom of past years, local cotton farmers have the habit of selling cotton after the Spring Festival. At present, local cotton farmers only sell about 20%. The fluctuation of cotton prices has affected cotton growers' enthusiasm for planting cotton to some extent.
