    2010 China International Silk Fair (hereinafter referred to as the exhibition) was successfully held in Hangzhou from October 22nd to October 25th. During the exhibition, merchants gathered and distinguished guests. The activities achieved remarkable results. The reports are as follows:


    1. The general situation of the exhibition in 2010

The total exhibition area is 20 thousand square meters. There are nearly 200 silk dress enterprises and fashion designers from 20 thousand provinces, namely, Japan, Taiwan, Hongkong and Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangdong, Liaoning, Sichuan, Jiangsu and Jiangsu.


    "Ten pairs", namely: Reception reception, silk and ladies' fashion trends release, silk dress enterprises and transnational procurement meeting, silk women's clothing business and department store butt meeting, Sixth China International Women's costume designer Grand Prix, the awarding Gala, the sixth fashion production technology and fitting model competition, "Paradise silk, Wulin clothing show" and the Hangzhou ten best fashion designer award presentation ceremony, "silk country Hangzhou line", the national and Urban TV short film production competition, the national vocational and technical college teachers and students clothing design skills competition, the China spinning ODM middle heart initiation ceremony, the most intimate couple -- the silk house hundred pairs of lovers collection activities.


    The exhibition in 2010 has achieved remarkable results. During the exhibition, more than 1500 professional businessmen from 16 countries (regions) participated in the exhibition. The total turnover was RMB 237 million yuan, which was much higher than that in 2009 (the related data in 2009 was 1000 merchants and 150 million yuan). Among them, there were 50 Silk women's clothing enterprises and 120 foreign purchasers who reached a procurement contract at the transnational procurement conference, which amounted to $15 million. Agent At the docking meeting with silk dress enterprises, 17 silk dress enterprises and 86 shopping malls reached a cooperation intention, involving an amount of 37 million yuan.


    Two, main characteristics


    Compared with the past, the 2010 exhibition has the following four characteristics:


    1, participating actively. This year's exhibition started early and worked. Taiwan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Ningxia and Huzhou, Shengzhou, Xiaoshan, Yuhang, Chunan and other places have a high degree of participation. They are participating in exhibitions through government departments, trade associations and leading enterprises. There are only 40 exhibitors in the special exhibition area. Exhibitors are highly motivated to participate in the exhibition. In accordance with the principle of giving priority to group participation and the priority of foreign enterprises, we encourage local exhibitors to set up exhibitions in the exhibition area and balance the needs of all parties.


    2, buyers gathered. Although the European and American economies have not yet got rid of the shadow of the recession and the international exchange rate changes have great impact on the international investment promotion of the exhibition, but China's perfect industrial chain advantages and the outstanding professional brand effect of the exhibition have attracted the attention of foreign businessmen. The number of professional buyers has reached 120, which is two times that of last year. At the same time, we have organized nearly 500 department stores and agents to negotiate with the associations, enterprises, websites, etc., and have opened up channels for domestic exhibitors and agents to help enterprises expand their domestic market.


    3, mode innovation. This year's exhibition has added independent exhibitors and exhibitors. The introduction of the exhibition area, on the one hand, set up a bridge for designers to cooperate with exhibitors. On the other hand, the exhibition will form a complete exhibition chain for R & D, design, production, marketing and so on, and it is also convenient for businessmen to grasp the overall development of the silk dress industry. Network sales is one of the main channels of clothing marketing. We cooperate with Alibaba and Convention and exhibition company to set up new network exhibitors, introduce network exhibitors and procurement, and promote traditional entity marketing and modern network sales to learn from each other and merge with each other.


    4, exact matching. Through the opening of the official website platform of the exhibition, the exhibition information will be released in real time on the official website, publicize the exhibitors' corporate image, update the exhibitors, purchasers, agents and other purchasing and acting commodity information, and feedback and train the exhibitors at the same time.


    Three, the results achieved


    In 2010, the exhibition featured various activities and climax, and successfully set up a display platform, sales platform and business platform for silk and women's clothing industry at home and abroad, which promoted the development of silk dress industry and gained wide recognition from all walks of life.


    1, show the image. As one of the international exhibitions of professionalization and fashion in China's silk and women's wear industry, the silk and women's wear exhibition has organized famous enterprises such as katyya, wusli, Daly, Hedi Bao, Xinyuan, Sutong, silk road, Guangdong silk and so on. The exhibition scope has been showing the achievements of China's silk and women's clothing industry from the aspects of clothing materials, fashion trends, innovative design, technology gifts, and cross industry applications.     2, expand the impact. During the exhibition, the leaders of the national and provincial and municipal levels attended the exhibition related activities, expanded the impact of exhibitions and improved the quality and scale of the exhibition. The support and concern of the national professional associations such as the China Textile Industry Association, the China Federation of Commerce, the China Silk Association, the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and so on, expanded the channels and brand promotion of the exhibition in the industry and attracted the attention of professional customers. The full participation and omni-directional rolling reports of more than 60 media such as Asahi Shimbun, Taiwan TV and CCTV, Xinhua news agency, people's daily, Sina and so on, formed the publicity atmosphere of the exhibition covering TV, newspapers, magazines and networks, and greatly enhanced the public attention of the exhibition. As of the end of October, the total number of publications has been almost 300.


    3, upgrading the industry. With Ningxia, Chongqing, Sichuan and other provinces and cities according to the characteristics of their own industrial development, through the on-the-spot display and cooperation negotiations, we will carry out the Ministry of Commerce's "East Mulberry shift to the west" strategy, enhance the cooperation and exchange level of the silk and garment industry between the East and the central and western provinces and cities; organize the cooperation platform of the whole silk industry chain of Hangzhou silk dress, and promote the understanding cooperation and interactive development of the silk dress industry through organizing the fabric design, manufacture and marketing enterprises; through organizing the China International Women's wear designer competition and the ten best fashion designer selection in Hangzhou, we invite experts from the industry and business circles to carry out the review and selection activities, and comb and enhance the team of the Hangzhou fashion designers, excavate the potential designers, and create potential designers, and create a follow-up designer's talent echelon.     Looking back at the 2010 exhibition, the results were gratifying, but the same problem existed. In the face of great fluctuations in international exchange rates, inadequate guidance for purchasers and exhibitors, the measures to be improved need to be improved, and the expected targets are not achieved. International investment and recruitment methods are not enough, and pertinence is not strong enough. The enthusiasm of all parties concerned has not been fully mobilized, and the number of exhibitors and professional customers needs to be improved. On the basis of our visit and summary, we will improve our exhibition thinking and quality, and actively rely on the functions of the ministries and associations of the Ministry of Commerce and the China Federation of Commerce, the China Silk Association, the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and so on. We will make the silk dress exhibition a first-class professional and industry event to make a greater contribution to the development of China's silk industry.
