Reflection On A College Graduate (1)
More than five years ago, I entered the national key universities: WuHan University Reading. With the best enthusiasm, I think I have embarked on a journey of life serving the motherland and serving my parents, thinking that my life is about to be grand.
Three years ago, with the biggest doubt and puzzlement of "my university", I resigned from the post of deputy secretary of the sub committee, and began to read and ponder over my life seriously, my university, my future.
Trying to find solutions to problems that I can't understand all around.
This decision also means that I have given up the lofty ideal of contributing to the nation and nation through "politics".
A year and a half ago, I thought I had seen it.
Chinese Universities
The essence of it is that it does not want to continue to deceive oneself and learn, and voluntarily renounced the quota of school research and protection, and withdrew from the game of youth and hot blood for a diploma without real content and diploma, and withdrew from China's ridiculous "elite academic society".
Determined to enter the enterprise, step up to engage in "industry", stand on the front line of China's economy, and make real efforts and contributions to the country and society as well as ourselves.
Because I don't want to fool myself with gilded diploma and culture, and fool others.
Today, more than a year after graduation, my work and ability have been affirmed by my boss and colleagues, and I will be resigned soon after sending me abroad.
I do not want to accept this honor with no intention. I am determined to go far in the mountains to explore China.
New education mode
The private schools try to achieve the greatest value in my life by engaging in the most scarce and most needed education in China: for my beloved China, for the children and the future of China, and for myself, to do something really meaningful, instead of wasting their lives day after day in hopeless waiting.
Because what China really lacks is not money. What I lack is not money.
China lacks culture and education.
So am I!
Everyone around me thinks I'm crazy and confused.
Abandoning the "authentic", "most right" and "most natural" road pursued by the Chinese from childhood is really puzzling.
I am also seriously thinking about the reasons for my doing so.
Here, write your answers to your family and friends.
You can also comment on yourself: am I crazy or am I crazy?
First, lack of spirit, games, students busy with gold, teachers busy with projects -- do you know such a university?
When I walked past the simple and elegant architecture, and then went deep into my own learning environment and other places of the school, I found that this place is different from the quiet university campus I read in the book. There are all kinds of people in this area. There are all kinds of commercial posters or advertisements everywhere.
There are few books that can be heard in primary and secondary schools in universities.
How can universities be inferior to primary schools?
After the formal start of class, I learned more about how many people in the University were in class: after the bell rang in the morning, many people wore slippers and breakfast, slowly wandered into the classroom. After eating breakfast, they looked at the teacher on the table and said it was boring.
Some students simply couldn't sleep. There was a saying in the University: "wake up and watch the table for ten o'clock, continue to sleep until half past eleven, get up early, lunch together."
After eleven o'clock in the evening, it should be in the dead of night, at the time of rest. If you walk into the boys' dormitory at the University, you can definitely see that their nightlife is just beginning, playing games, playing mahjong or watching martial arts novels.
Rarely seen together read together, discuss the wisdom of life scene, on the contrary, you can see many college students go to the Internet bar to wrap up the night, or play online games in the dormitory. Their daily communication and communication content is the game, so many students are compelled to "learn" and play games with "brothers".
Games have become the main learning content of boys in universities, and many people have worked hard for four years.
When I first saw a messy dormitory in my senior high school dormitory building, I saw a disordered dormitory, emitting a peculiar smell. When I looked up, I saw a fluffy head and blurred eyes. My soul was shocked. My heart really can't believe it. This is the student of Wuhan University. The eyes of empty eyes show the ignorance of the soul and the emptiness of the heart, and send away their youthful days in the days of all games! Is this a university student? These people are the new generation who study hard for the rise of China. A strong voice in my heart tells me: I must not be like this!
One of my classmates, from freshman year to senior year, four years, except for the exam and the classroom, I spent the rest of my time playing games or watching martial arts in my bedroom.
Later, because too many hang ups were persuaded by the Academy, the parents came to ask for help to postpone the time, but it didn't work.
Another student, too, was also discouraged from playing too many games. His mother came to the college and knelt before the college leader. He said, "I left my home leaves for him to read. Please give him a chance!" when I heard the leader of the college talk about such a thing, I was shocked.
Parents eat vegetable leaves for children to play games in the city, fool around? Do they have to ask for "opportunities"? Give him the chance to continue playing games. They say poor parents. I think of my hard-working parents. I remember the millions of parents who sent their children to university. They worked hard for their children in the University, worked hard to earn money, selflessly supported their children to go to school, let them relieve their worries and worry about life.
I do not know how many people are playing in the university campus nowadays.
In the words of one of my classmates at Xi'an Electronic and Science University, "if his mother came to live in a university for a week, he would definitely quit school."
Because in China, "going to college" may be the most relaxing and enjoyable time in life.
We can play games, watch TV, skip classes, and martial arts novels. This is the whole life of many college boys.
How about girls? Looking at Korean dramas, the main content of college students is to see various series of dramas, such as Korean dramas, emotional drama, one after another.
Can you imagine this is "my university"? Unfortunately, all of this is true, and it happened in a famous famous university such as Wuhan University.
These people are proud of their families and many of their classmates when they go to university. But why are they so puzzling in their youth?
At that time, I was not aware of myself.
Of course, not all students are so muddled. Many people still work hard at University, but they are also puzzled: the main reason for them to study hard is fear and stress: they are afraid that they can not find a good job and are afraid of failing to graduate.
Everyone has heard that employment is very difficult, and there are many graduates who can not find jobs every year, so they dare not "indulge" themselves.
But few students study hard because they pursue wisdom, pursue truth, and learn for the country and the people.
Although these hardworking students do not have the "game life", they live in a heavy psychological state of depression. Their minds are often dull, and slowly walk on a path of "stupid doctor" that is ridiculed by college students.
In fact, the college students who commit suicide each year are often not "bad students" who are not hardworking, but "good students" who are psychologically depressed and diligent in their studies.
Like them, they have encountered many unsolved puzzles from the beginning of college, and have been instilled in some so-called "correct development directions". They are only willing to obey these "authoritative conclusions" and "learn" by self repression rather than the call of the soul. Is this difficult way better than "playing games" and "watching video discs"? What is the purpose of university learning? Why do college students lose their ideals?
First of all, professional learning is confusing: many teachers read the books, and the university really pays attention to teaching and caring for students. There are fewer and fewer teachers at school level, and they don't know what teachers are busy with.
The teacher's job should be to pass the profession to solve the problem, but some teachers can not see it several times a semester, and send his graduate student to class.
Later I realized that they were busy with their own projects and subjects.
When we were freshman, we had a guide and physics in communication engineering, and the students' evaluation was like this: "what do you know about Bo Bo? What do you know?"
The textbooks chosen by universities are puzzling. There are obviously good national textbooks, such as the Tongji five edition of higher mathematics, but it is necessary to choose textbooks compiled by their own schools. It is difficult and obscure. Even the exercises selected are all kinds of postgraduate examinations over the years. Maybe the teachers who want to prepare textbooks want to prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination in advance. Only later did we know that the reason why the school chose this kind of "self compiled textbook" is because teachers want to "evaluate titles".
We need "scientific research results" to compile some "teaching materials" to "complete the task". This kind of junk textbooks placed in a bookstore is virtually useless. They use their right to teach and distribute them to college students.
It is said that the teachers are also miserable. They should complete the so-called "research results" every year. They should write papers and publish books to complete their tasks, otherwise they may be demoted.
Some teachers can not afford to spend their own money in publishing publications outside the house. It is easy to understand the fact that students can not pay for textbooks.
In addition to requiring students to study professionally, there are few inspiring voices in college students' career. What's more, there is a lack of courses to guide college students' life development and positioning, so that students can understand why they are learning and why they live.
My major is electronic information science. Like many other students, I study hard in compulsory elective courses such as higher mathematics, but I am very anxious outside of my professional studies. I don't know if this major is suitable for myself. I don't know what this major means. I don't know what the direction and mainstream of social development is. I don't understand what kind of talent requirements for the purpose of this major training. I don't know how to carry out university studies, and I don't know where the road ahead is.
How should I go step by step to realize my ideal? I have met many college students.
They know little about their chosen profession.
In fact, I do not think teachers understand what these professions really want to do. Later, they know that managers in Colleges and universities find it easy to attract students by changing their names.
Look at what is the most popular job in a professional field. Hurry up and take up a major.
Many students choose their majors only for the convenience of employment, but when they really want to locate themselves, they fall into the "professional thinking" and can not extricate themselves.
Most people just read a hot subject for a job, but forget to pay close attention to their interests, hobbies and even comprehensive ability training and ideal thinking.
"University reconstruction" let me start to understand the origin and significance of the University, that is, the university should be a social conscience and ideological launchers. Universities should cultivate students with justice, courage and wisdom for this society. After they have gone to society, they can be able to gradually improve the bad things in this society, promote social development, and constantly strive for the pformation of human material society, as well as the exploration and promotion of spiritual civilization, such as science, art and literature.
I heard some exciting voices, and seemed to have grasped some things. But my heart was still wandering, the direction was not clear, the ideal seemed to be more and more distant, and I did not know how to start.
At the same time, why are our universities like this? Why are so many students lacking in spiritual thinking and no guidance from teachers? Apart from occasionally being able to hear some exciting voices in some lectures, why do university teachers finish their lectures as if they are working part-time, having no fun and content, and then leaving? Why do university teachers never discuss life wisdom with their students? Why do so many college students turn a blind eye to them? I have no idea about these problems, and I myself have encountered more puzzles on the way of student cadre work.

Two, why do you want to quit the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League?
In the freshman year, I attended the news department of the student union, and then became a minister. I spent the unforgettable days with a group of friends who were ambitious.
In the second year of the sophomore year, he succeeded in running as Deputy Secretary of the sub committee and member of the Bureau of the student union.
However, after half a year, I resolutely resigned from this brilliant position. You may be surprised that I do not have the dream of "Premier". Why do you want to resign? This is the right way to take the "official road". When I first started a student association's small ministries, I just had to broaden my horizons and exercise my own ideas.
When I became a minister, and after my job, I began to think about what I was doing and what I could do to help students. There were many problems in college students that needed guidance and help. As I had many puzzles in my mind, I needed to answer. Did students do so many activities?
From the moment I entered the student union, I ran around with all kinds of activities with my camera. I was very excited at the beginning of the class meeting, sports meeting, literary competition and so on.
But slowly, my heart began to fail to understand. I found that these activities were organized, organized, wonderful, and laughed, but without much wisdom, they seemed to be just a record of "achievements".
The students of those games continued to play, and the confusion of my inner ideals was not answered in these activities.
So I began to wonder why it took a lot of effort to organize a lot of activities in this form, instead of focusing on the real problems of students, doing the work that students and university really should do. At that time, I was the Minister of journalism of the student union. When I was faced with a change, I wanted to quit. My heart has already told me vaguely that this place is not suitable for me.
But the dim dream in my heart made me think: if my status is higher, "power" is bigger, if I can lead the League Committee and student union, can I do something really meaningful and valuable? I can also exercise myself through this machine, so as to define my own direction.
There are many student leaders who are taking the road step by step.
So I began to work hard to improve myself: with my relatively good strength and the trust of my teachers, I succeeded in running for the Deputy Secretary of the sub committee of the college, which may be the highest official among the students.
My heart was full of energy and I wanted to do something that really helped students.
But when I got to this position, I realized how naive I was: all kinds of activities were not arranged by us. We just went according to the established programs and contents arranged by the teachers above, and wanted to change their formal functions. It is almost impossible for the teachers of the college to have their own arrangements. The leaders of the school Youth League Committee have their own ideas, and everything must achieve one aim: activities should be wonderful, and forms need to be diversified. But no one thinks about the practical significance of such activities.
I find that I have no more personal autonomy. I have to face more boring meetings and organize many meaningless activities. Most of these meetings and activities do not have any effect on serving students or realizing their own ideals, and there is no way to solve the situation that I encounter such as addicted to online games and lack of mental outlook. I even lost the time and space to improve my thinking and learning.
My heart does not understand why we can not solve the problems that exist in the students in a specific way. Why not give advice and guidance to them when they indulge in the Internet and games, or even take some tough measures? Do they have to wait until after they have hung up their classes to give their places and expel their school status? What's more, after dealing with some student leaders in other colleges, I find that many of the student leaders in the university student union are top students of "game university", but because they are good relations with counselors and teachers, they become student cadres to help teachers "manage students".
Where can such student leaders lead students? At the same time, these people seem to be very confident that they are "elite groups" and feel good about them.
Among the student leaders, there are many restaurants to "pull in" each other's relationship, drink and even smoke, and so on, the so-called "smoking bridge and wine opening". I heard it for the first time from the chairman of the student union. I am puzzled. Is this a promising young student in the university? Is this the "elite group" that will lead the country in the future? Is our country short of such talents?
When faced with such a situation, my heart began to suffer: I could choose to do my best if I had nothing to do. It has already done this in any way, and I will have all kinds of excellent honors and research opportunities in one or two years.
But I also begin to understand that no matter how high my future status is and how big "power" is, I can not realize my ideal. I am a person who is against a large, degenerate, caring only group of material interests and benefits for himself.
If I want to be prime minister or other decision-making power, I will have to muddle along with them or they will be kicked out of the system sooner or later.
But do I really hope so? If I spend my valuable time on something that can not really work at all, and harvest some so-called honor and benefits, what will I do in my inner confusion? How should I go on? Is that my idea? After half a year of deep thinking, I decided to apply for resignation for half a year.
At that time, the teachers of the college were surprised at my behavior. After making clear my intention to quit, I was very kind to suggest that I could be anonymous, so that I could get the chance to protect research at the senior year.
I do not want to take advantage of this cheap, tell the teacher, if you want to go, go all out, do not need to name, my heart does not like this way.
So, I am glad to get away from many boring "student work" and return to the free days without meetings and so many activities that I do not understand.
Reading, listening to lectures, listening to Wu Da's "weekend art", let your heart grow freely.
I try to reposition my ideals, because I find that politics seems unsuitable for me.
There are two alternatives left. One is that everyone is very keen, and it is also a traditional way to save the nation by industry. I can help our country become an economic power and help ourselves become an economic hero.
I admire Mr. Yifu Lin, an economist, who was a hot blooded youth in Taiwan. As a military officer, he defected to the mainland because he opposed the political corruption of Chiang Kai Shek Dynasty.
Of course, he can enjoy the treatment of "righteous" class, and quickly get promoted in China's "party, government and army" system.
However, he defected from Taiwan at that time, not for material gain, but for the ideal of blood in his heart.
I think he later left the political circle and embarked on the road of scholars. Was it like me that he found that "politics" in China could not solve the ideal of serving the people, so he had to study knowledge and become a scholar.
Otherwise, if the purpose of his defection is merely to be a scholar, the Taiwan conditions at that time were better.
He has now become one of the best scholars in the world economics field, and he has been nominated for the Nobel prize in economics.
What road is more meaningful and valuable? I try to read a lot, work hard to think, discover all kinds of clues and facts to help me decide to solve all the puzzles in my heart.
Three, reading "University", I found that "learning" in university is also a dead end.
Can I really be dedicated to being a scholar? Like Yifu Lin, I have more and more knowledge of the University in constant reading and thinking. I also begin to understand why the ivory tower, which was once quiet and full of pursuit of wisdom, is getting more and more strange.
The profiteering and impetuous atmosphere of business fills the whole campus. The linkage between academic and business and the malformation of teachers' professional titles make more and more teachers on campus increasingly busy with their projects and busy with publishing papers.
Because there are papers and projects, then there will be titles and money, and then there will be houses, cars and all kinds of reputations. How can such teachers have time to pass the profession to solve the problem? But nowadays, the university campus is basically such a teacher.
Because the "ideal" teacher is doomed to be "eliminated" by reality.
Other schools do not understand, but the nationally known Yi Zhongtian, when he was in Wuhan University, was excluded from Xiamen University because of his unique personality and unwilling to be vulgar.
Later, Zhao Lin, a professor of philosophy, who was respected by the students, one of Wu's great names, also wanted to leave the University.
Later, it was said that the headmaster saw the boiling of public opinion and insisted on retaining Zhao Lin.
But the root problem is not solved because I have recently heard that Deng Xiaowang, a famous philosophy professor who is devoted to learning, is going to Chinese laborers.
A liberal arts professor has to leave the prestigious prestigious university with a long history of liberal arts. He prefers to work in an engineering university. What has happened to Wu Da? Is Luojia Hill a place for learning? Professor Shang Sheng, the four famous scholar, said that many talented teachers who left school together with him had left Wuhan University.
And many left university and left academia.
Is the road of scholars in China the same as the way of "politics"? Is it an unworkable "Dream Road"? Can China put a quiet desk on it? I am very restless about the possibility of pursuing my own way of learning.
It is increasingly found that in the so-called "prestigious universities", real knowledge has no place at all.
Teachers do not care about knowledge and learning.
In such a university, there is no real missionary teacher.
Because teachers are actually "disadvantaged groups" in universities, they are "managed" by a group of educational officials who do not know education at all. Under the pressure of survival, they have to submit to the malformed assessment mechanism for their titles, for promotion and for jobs.
Teachers who can think independently and have independent personality may not be able to tolerate this educational bureaucracy at all.
Even famous professors such as Zhao Lin and Deng Xiaowang have to succumb to the "system". Even four famous people are still complaining that they are unable to give full play to their abilities. Is it true that a small postgraduate can realize their ideals on the way of "learning"? Many PhD supervisors will send their own research students instead of themselves to teach undergraduates, and they will be busy with their own projects. When they are bosses, they chase money and power status. What is the difference between this "Officialdom" and "shopping malls"? The real difference is that it is more hypocritical and paste a "education" skin, so it is more harmful.
