Ma Yun decided to stand on Gates's giant shoulder and cheer for his ideals.

He firmly believed that with the popularity of the Internet, Gates would say this sooner or later.

12 years later, at the Microsoft Asia government leaders forum in April 2007, Gates told the world that the Internet is changing people's lives.

I have much to share with you about the entrepreneurial experience of China's yellow pages.

1995 was the hardest time for the Internet. When I went to the United States, I decided to do the Internet after I came back.

I asked 24 friends to hold a meeting in my house for two hours, and no one could understand what I was saying.

Finally, 23 people opposed, one agreed.

This (agreed) person said, Ma Yun, if you really want to do it, try it. If you can't do it, you can hurry back and get back.

I thought about it one night and second days in the morning, and I decided to go ahead.

In China, a lot of people start their own businesses. They are "think of a thousand roads at night, get up and walk in the morning."

(that is to say) in the evening, I think it is really good and I am very excited. I rode a bicycle and went to work on the second morning.

This is a problem that many of our entrepreneurs encounter.

I have seen the Internet in the United States, and I think the Internet will be (very) good, but no one else has seen it.

How can you turn it into reality without seeing it?

(everyone knows) Bill Gate once said that the Internet will change every aspect of human life.

In fact, this sentence is not what Bill Gate said, but what I said, I changed it to Bill Gate.

In 1995, the whole world just started to know Bill Gate, but if it was Ma Yun who said, "the Internet will change all aspects of human life", then who will believe you? (so) this is called "standing on the shoulders of giants", because I believe Bill Gate will say sooner or later.

Another point is that entrepreneurs may not necessarily understand what you are doing, but you have to believe in its future and be convinced that it can bring real value to others.

If you feel that you have the chance and believe in it, move on.

I used to be the foreign director of the Hangzhou Institute of electronic engineering, and I was equivalent to the rank of cadres.

When I resigned, the principal told me that whenever you want to come back, I will give you permission to return to school within a second.

I said thank you to him, but I said in my heart, I won't be back in ten years.

I didn't come out of school to earn money. Of course, making money is not a bad thing.

But I didn't really make money at that time.

I was chosen as the ten outstanding young teacher at the age of 29, but I am an undergraduate. After 10 years, why do I compete with those better young people? I can experience more than any teacher in any experience during the entrepreneurial process.

For this purpose, I left university to start a business.

For me, these 10 years, any failure, success, team experience, is the greatest wealth I have, this is what I want most.

Sometimes I may fail, but I may not fail. I am willing to try.

If trouble is solved one by one, it is experience.

If I fail, it is also an experience.

What entrepreneurs want is an experience. People will not regret for what you have done in your life. Many times, when you are old, you regret it because you haven't done anything.

From the first day of starting a business, you must know that you are going through a tortuous road in this process.

On this tortuous road, what you have experienced is your greatest wealth.

Until now, I feel more and more that this is the right way to keep an entrepreneur's mind balanced forever.
