    According to the survey, 60% of enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region are in a state of labor shortage this year.

    The report released by the HR service provider showed that 87.3% of the enterprises in 2010 had adjusted their salaries, and 89% of the enterprises in 2011 will raise their salaries for all employees.


    Du Yang believes that solving the "labor shortage" requires more public policy-makers to prescribe the right medicine and prescribe a good prescription.

    For example, in the process of urbanization, the social security, welfare and social policies of migrant workers are incomplete, which to a certain extent inhibit the development of labor supply potential.

    If we improve the urbanization policy from the institutional level, the two yuan structure between urban and rural areas will be eliminated more quickly, and the labor supply time will increase, which can alleviate labor shortage to a certain extent.

    Of course, public policies need to invest more human capital, such as improving the training system for migrant workers, so that they can better adapt to the future structural adjustment.
