The person in charge said that in 2010, Quanzhou shoe enterprises actively developed Russia, South Asia, South America and Africa on the basis of consolidating the market of Europe, America and Japan and expanding the market of Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and now the sales market has spread all over the world in more than 80 countries and regions.

It is understood that in 2010, Quanzhou shoe enterprises firmly grasped the opportunities for the recovery of the main export markets of footwear exports, striving to overcome the many effects of RMB appreciation, labor shortage and foreign technology barriers, and continued to maintain steady growth through increasing the pace of brand internationalization, implementing brand strategy and strengthening quality management, thus stabilizing the share in overseas markets.

"At present, there are more than 30 shoe-making enterprises in Quanzhou and international famous brands to establish production and marketing alliance, and XTEP, Anta, PEAK and other footwear enterprises in the United States, Russia, Southeast Asia and other more than 20 countries and regions to set up business organizations and stores."

The official said that because of the initial success of the brand strategy, the average unit price of footwear exports in Quanzhou increased from 3.90 US dollars in 2009 to 4.84 US dollars in 2010, an increase of 21.30%.

According to statistics, there are altogether more than 2000 export footwear enterprises in Quanzhou, Fujian. They have formed the pattern from children's shoes to adult shoes, from sports shoes, slippers to leather shoes.
