Ebay Acquired German Website To Boost Sales Of Fashion Products
According to CNET technology information network, not long ago, EBayInc., the largest e-commerce platform, agreed to acquire Brands4friends, the largest online shopping mall in Germany, to boost sales in Europe.
The company's headquarters in San Jose, California, announced that eBay will pay $200 million in the transaction.
EBay said that according to its survey, in Europe, online
"This initiative aims to enhance eBay as the preferred place to buy online fashions in Europe." The company said.
The 3 million 500 thousand registered members of Brands4friends website in Germany are eligible.
Stephen Zor, President of eBay German company, said in an interview: "we are optimistic about the future, especially in the fashion category. As long as we buy from offline, online shopping continues to change."
Zoll added that the focus will now be on Germany, and eBay will be able to make Brands4friends's expertise change internationally.
