Wang Yuehua, vice mayor of Zhengzhou, said that the "Jinyi International Textile City" project is located in the Zhengzhou textile and garment industrial park at the junction of West Fourth Ring Road and Zhengshang road in Zhengzhou. It is an international textile concentrated exchange market built on the basis of Yuan Yuantong Textile City, which is invested by 5 billion yuan in Hongkong Jinyi group.

Wang Yuehua said that after the completion of the project, it will become the national textile exhibition, trading, R & D and production center. The large logistics trading platform will become the largest textile market in the central region with the most complete support, the most complete variety and the most convenient logistics. It will form a three faced situation of "East Zhejiang Keqiao, South Guangdong Zhongda, and Zhengzhou Jinyi International Textile City".

"This project is a super large city comprehensive commercial body integrating textile wholesale trading, boutique shopping pedestrian street, warehousing logistics, enterprise headquarters, star rated hotels, business clubs, leisure entertainment, supporting resides and other formats."

Wang Dongliang, head of Zhongyuan District, Zhengzhou, said.

Wang Dongliang introduced that the first phase of the project covers an area of 406 mu, with a total construction area of 900 thousand square meters. After completion, the project can accommodate more than 6000 households and 80 thousand job placement personnel, achieving an annual sales volume of 20 billion yuan.

Under the background of domestic industrial pfer, the textile industry of Hongkong Jinyi group also began to shift from the southeast coast to the central region gradually.

Chen Jinyan, chairman of the board of directors of Hongkong Jinyi group, announced that the headquarters of Hongkong Jinyi group moved from Hongkong to Zhengzhou.

The group also decided to donate 50 million yuan to the Henan overseas Chinese Charity Foundation and set up a special fund to support Zhengzhou's education.
