According to the GB18401-2003 standard of basic safety technical specifications for national textile products, the current textile products are divided into three categories: Class A: infant products; class B: products that are directly exposed to the skin; class C: products that are not directly exposed to the skin.

Of the samples tested, 12 were knitted underwear (category A), and 8 were children's knitted underwear (class B).

FZ/T73025-2006 "infant knitted apparel" standard stipulates that the washing size change rate, superior quality is straight (horizontal) to -5.0% ~ +1.0%; first grade is straight to -6.0% ~ +2.0%, horizontal -7.0% ~ +2.0%.

In the GB/T8878-2009 cotton knitted underwear standard, the shrinkage rate has been specified in more detail according to the fabric structure of fabric.

From the comparative test report, 5 samples of 20 samples were found to have larger rate of wash size change.

For example, the sample "Organic brand 100br" and "90br", the nominal superior quality, the size change rate (straight direction) of -9.1% is -9.1%, which is quite different from the bottom line -5% stipulated in the "infant knitted apparel" standard. The sample "baby's happy brand shoulder open suit (shoulder clothing + two crotch pants"), nominal grade goods, water washing size change rate (straight direction) is -8.2%, also lower than the bottom line -6% specified in the standard.

From the experience of life, the direct consequence of excessive size changes after washing is the effect of washing once again, especially in infants and children's underwear.

As for the reasons for the shrinkage of garments, according to the reporter, on the one hand, it is mainly related to the dry weight of the square meters of fabric and the weaving structure, and also involves the finishing process of clothes. On the other hand, children's clothing products are smaller than the size of adult clothing, and the shrinkage rate is more obvious when using the same material.

A knit member of the China Textile Standardization Committee, who does not want to be named, told this reporter that clothing companies frequently had problems in quality inspection, which was closely related to the technical agreement and quality control and fabric prices signed by suppliers of fabrics and fabrics purchased by suppliers.

This reflects that some clothing enterprises are buying low-cost and low-quality fabrics to save costs, which is the root of the problem.

In addition, some of the tested products, though the qualified products, are also in line with the industry standards, but the China Consumer Association report believes that the shrinkage rate of children's knitted underwear is so large that it will directly affect the wearing and production of enterprises should meet the actual needs.

Low quality standard, weak sense of safety warning.

In fact, both the national standard and the industry standard are the minimum requirements. The relevant departments of the state consider the level that most of the enterprises above designated size can achieve when formulating standards.

In China's "standard law", it is stipulated that enterprises should be encouraged to set up enterprise standards that are higher than national standards or industry standards in combination with their own conditions.

The formulation of the national law is intended to stimulate enterprises to improve the level of production technology and enhance the quality and competitiveness of local products.

The samples of children underwear products of Beijing Adam Underwear Co., Ltd. were tested in the comparative test.

The reporter learned from Guan Chunhong, manager of the quality management department of Adam's company, that admiration attaches great importance to product quality testing, and has a set of own and perfect quality testing equipment. From the results of comparative experiments, the indicators of underwear samples for children are directly -2.3% and no change in horizontal direction, which is in line with their business standards and higher than national standards.

In the experimental samples, a Korean clothing imported has attracted the attention of the journalists. Its manufacturer is cuby n mom, Korea. What are the two differences and whether there are differences between domestic and international standards?

The reporter dialed the telephone of the knitwear branch of the China Textile Standardization Technical Committee. After the interview, it was learned that the performance standard was formulated abroad, that is, the standard for the performance of some similar categories of products; and the domestic standard was formulated on a specific product, and there was no comparison between the foreign and domestic standards.

For the "infant knitted apparel" standard, reference is made to the American standards in terms of strength, color fastness and water washing rate. The degree of consistency is not equivalent.

Reporters learned that the national basic safety technical specification for textile products is a national mandatory standard, and the regulations on formaldehyde and pH value are mandatory for enterprises to meet the standards.

A business person told reporters more positively that, to a certain extent, the domestic garment industry standard is even higher than the EU standard.

During the press release, media reports reported that the Korean standard for infant textile product access standards was stricter, and the new standards to be implemented in May this year required the use of commodity instructions, safety warnings and small attachment strength tests.

After consulting relevant information, reporters found that similar standards were promulgated in China in 2009.
