With the release of Gome's 2010 results, Gome and Suning two major appliance chain giants last year's war situation was officially announced.

Gome reported that sales revenue reached 50 billion 910 million yuan last year, an increase of about 19.32% over the same period last year.

Net profit increased from 1 billion 409 million yuan in 2009 to 1 billion 962 million yuan, an increase of 39.25% over the same period last year.

According to the annual report released by Suning Appliance, Suning achieved a net profit of 4 billion 12 million yuan in 2010, an increase of 38.82% over the same period last year.

Judging from the performance of listed companies, Gome revenue was 67.4% of Suning in 2010 and net profit was 48.4% of Suning.

No timetable for injection into unlisted stores

The annual report shows that Gome opened 139 new stores in 2010, and closed 39 inefficient stores. By the end of 2010, the total number of stores was 826.

Suning Appliance combined 408 new chain stores in 2010, and refreshed the annual sales record of Suning. The total number of stores in the world has reached 1342, including 1311 in the mainland of China, 23 in Hongkong and 8 in Japan.

However, Gome said that Gome also owns 494 stores that have not been listed, and the total number of GOME stores is 1320, which is comparable to that of its competitors.

But for the time when non listed stores can be injected into listed companies, Zhang Dazhong, chairman of Gome's board of directors, said that the board will discuss the problem at the right time, and there is no timetable for the time being.

For this year's shop plan, Wang Junzhou, President of Gome, said that the number of new stores opened last year was 100.
