Reporters yesterday in the shoe manufacturing machinery industry standard setting table 2010 found that in the seven industry standards that need to be formulated, the Dongguan enterprises led four seats in the absolute leading position.

According to the notice of "2010 young industry's formulation and revision of the industry standard project plan", ten shoemaking machines were included in the plan, of which seven were formulated and three were revised.

Zhao Weiping, Deputy Secretary General of Dongguan shoe machine chamber of Commerce, said that the formulation of industry standards will play a normative role in the development of shoemaking machinery market.

Zhao Weiping introduced: "we only began to attach importance to the industry standard setting in 2008. We did not realize that this is actually a good way of publicity. Most of the standards in this industry were made by Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian enterprises."

"This shows from the side that we have relatively competitive strength compared with Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces."

According to Zhao Weiping, the formulation of industrial standards from the early stage screening, approval to drafting and deliberation and approval will last for about two years. Since 2008, the Dongguan shoe machinery chamber of Commerce has been in frequent contact with the Ministry of industry and the Chinese Light Industry Federation, and actively strives for the standard setting power of the shoe machine industry, and finally has obtained 4 industry standard setting targets.
