The Federal Trade Commission Consulted On Fur Regulations.

According to previous reports, President Obama signed the treaty in December 18, 2010.

Animal skin, which is equal to or less than 150 dollars, should not be labelled as a trimmed garment.

The bill also provides advice to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on guidelines for fur product names.

Fur products Labelling Act and

Regulations, fur manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers must mark on fur product labels: (1)

Name of the corresponding animal name in the guide; (2) whether bleaching, dyeing or other artificial color processing; (3) whether the commodity is made up of claws, tail, abdomen or other abandoned fur; (4) the name or identity registration number of the manufacturer or other commodity responsible party; and (5) the origin of the commodity.

In addition, in order to better identify, manufacturers must have product numbers or mark on labels.

According to the 2010 fur Label Act, the fur obtained from trap or hunting and the fur obtained from the face to face pactions of the hunter can be exempted.

The exemption also takes effect in March 18th and remains unchanged after the FTC is amended.

Stakeholders may submit their final comments before May 16th, including fur regulations and name guides, including whether there is a continuing need for the promulgation of the current rules, whether it is necessary to make changes to the benefits of consumers and businesses, the extent to which rules affect consumers, the significant cost of consumer and business, and how to reduce costs, whether the name guide is reasonable or not.
