But it is not too high compared with the first tier cities in Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai.
Jiang Daming said that the average price of commercial housing in Shandong is less than 4000 yuan per square meter, which is also low in the whole country.
For public interest in property tax issues, Jiang Daming also made it clear that at present there is no idea of levying property tax in our province.
Although the development of the real estate market in our province is relatively healthy and orderly, Jiang Daming said that in the 2011 and future period, Shandong will strictly implement the state's relevant regulatory policies and promote the more stable and healthy development of real estate.
In May 31st of last year, the announcement of the State Council's approval to the development and Reform Commission was published in full text by the Chinese government website.
In January 28th of this year, Shanghai and Chongqing officially launched the pilot project of real estate tax reform as the first batch of pilot cities for real estate tax.
Xiao Jie, director general of the State Administration of Taxation, said that the property tax is mainly summed up in two pilot cities.
