Though engaged in the fashion industry, it is necessary to absorb the most fashionable information in metropolis such as Shanghai and Beijing. But Shenzhen can give her a sense of comfort, so maybe it is providence that she stays here.

From town to institution of higher learning

Her hometown is in a small town in Shaoxing, Zhejiang.

Like most fashion designers, she likes beautiful clothes and is interested in art since childhood.

After graduating from high school, she did not follow her family's advice and went to university. Her father sent her to study clothes with a famous local master. Because she was interested in clothes since she was young, she was very quick at hand, plus the fine arts skills she had made in her childhood, making her better than others in collocation and peace drawing.

In 1984, she went to the "training course for fine suits" in Zhejiang Institute of Silk and Textiles for further study. In less than a year, she was admitted to the northwest Textile Institute of fashion design.

From the clothing store in the town to the students in higher education institutions, from Jiangnan to the northwest, this is also the process of her writing style.

The beauty of the Jiangnan Water Village and the simplicity of the northwest have penetrated into the design, and the style and atmosphere of the fashion have gradually formed a national and simple style.

Rushing to Shenzhen to earn the first barrel of gold

In 1992, she came to Shenzhen and initially worked in an enterprise. But she always had a liking for costume design. After working for over a year, she felt that she could not give up her expertise. In 1994, she resigned from a shopping mall in Luohu District and hired a shop. Although it was only 8 square meters, it was her first venture.

At that time, the most popular products in Shenzhen were the fabrics made of chemical fiber fabrics, which were low in cost and easy to sell.

But she did not like this fabric. Her clothes were mainly made of natural silk and linen fabrics.

However, some large shopping malls first saw that her clothing was mainly made of real silk and linen fabrics, so that consumers would not be willing to buy because of poor maintenance.

But she thinks her design concept is ahead of schedule. As long as she can persist, there will be more and more people like it.

She stubbornly adhered to her creative ideas. In the first few years, she often persuaded the shopping malls to be persuasive. After that, things got better and orders went one after another.
