However, while giving the EU a full affirmation of Chinese shoes, some shoe companies also expressed their concerns.
Lv Yangang, customer manager of vogue Fashion Shoes Co., Ltd., said: "although the EU has cancelled the anti-dumping duty, but what industrial policies will be unclear after that, so we have a choice for the order customers. We must ensure the quality and environmental standards of the products while giving priority to the large ones."
Ye Fan of Chengdu Jun Zhi Shoes Co., Ltd. also expressed a similar view. He said that after the end of the anti-dumping measures, the European Union has introduced some monitoring measures, and China's shoe exports to Europe still face many stringent testing thresholds.
In addition, Ye Fan also mentioned that China's raw materials and labor costs have been rising significantly recently, and the price of domestic real leather shoes is much higher than that of Southeast Asia, at least in terms of price.
Therefore, he said, Chinese shoe export enterprises must learn from experience and lessons, and start from the design and quality to raise the grade of products so as to achieve long-term survival and development. "When we do not have the price competitive advantage, we must try to win the quality, so that customers can reasonably accept relatively high prices.
