Recently, the Hunan textile industry working conference was held in Hengyang.

The conference summarized and reviewed the achievements and experience gained in the economic development of Hunan's textile industry during the "11th Five-Year" period, and studied and deployed the tasks of the "12th Five-Year" period, especially in 2011.

In addition, the development of cotton textile spindles from 2 million 400 thousand spindles to 350 spindles, ramie long spindles increased from 100 thousand to 180 thousand spindles, and garment production capacity was close to 300 million sets. Textile products covered many fields such as national textile, industry, pportation, agriculture, animal husbandry, fishing, and so on.

The conference also analyzed and studied the opportunities and challenges facing the development of the textile industry under the new situation. It is believed that the current global economic recovery has basically been established and the international market is generally improving, which will give China textile.

The conference also put forward the "textile and garment industry in Hunan".

"The main goal of development is to change the mode of development, readjust the industrial structure, foster the growth of characteristic and advantageous industries, and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system.

The province's textile enterprises above Designated Size strive to achieve an average annual growth of 20% in gross domestic product and an average annual growth of 20% in the main business income. The proportion of fiber consumption in the three major end products of clothing, household and industrial development has increased from the current 70:20:10 to 55:25:20.

By 2015, the total output value of Enterprises above Designated Size exceeded 150 billion yuan, the main business income reached 150 billion yuan, the industrial added value reached 45 billion yuan, the total profits and taxes were 6 billion yuan, and the fixed assets investment was 50 billion yuan, and the total output value of the textile industry reached 250 billion yuan by 2020.
