Labelux Luxury Group Buys Shoes Brand Jimmychoo
According to foreign reports, the British high-end shoes brand
JimmyChoo
Yesterday announced that
Luxury group
Labelux has bought the company from TowerBrookCapitalPartners.
But the two companies did not disclose the terms of the paction.
According to two people familiar with the matter, the paction price is about 500 million pounds (812 million US dollars).

Tamara, co founder and brand creative director of JimmyChoo, and CEO Josh Schulman (JoshuaSchulma), will remain the current position, said TamaraMellon.
According to reports, the Labelux group, founded by the German Reimann family in 2007, has bid higher than the US Private Equity Investment Firm TPGCapital in the final round of bid.
JimmyChoo is a brand created by Tamara Vogue, a former Vogue magazine editor, and shoe designer Zhou Yangjie (JimmyChoo) in 1996.
However, Zhou Yangjie pferred the company's shares in 2001.
In 2007, TowerBrookCapitalPartners invested 185 million pounds to buy JimmyChoo and developed it into a world-famous fashion brand.
The company has considered listing JimmyChoo for HK $650 million.
It is reported that JimmyChoo created a net sales of 150 million pounds in 2010.
So far this year, the company's sales have been growing at a two digit percentage.
