Textile Garments Vietnam 5 Billion 100 Million

According to the Vietnam textile and Garment Association, since the beginning of 2011, although the industry has been under the pressure of raw materials, water and electricity, and wage increases, the total export volume of 5 billion 100 million US dollars has increased by 35.6% in the first 5 months, compared with the same period in 2010. The United States, the European Union and Japan continued to be the top three export markets, especially in the early March.

However, during this period, exports to Malaysia and Turkey were countered by the two countries' defense import duties.

Vietnam's textile and garment industry has been developing rapidly in the past 10 years with an average annual growth rate of 30%. It is now ranked among the top 10 textile and garment exporting countries in the world. In 2010, it exported 11 billion 200 million US dollars in textile garments, an increase of 23% over the same period in 2009, and a planned export of 12 billion 500 million US $~130 billion in 2011.

However, industry experts estimate that Vietnam's industry still has not been able to make good use of its development potential, and the domestic market needs to be vigorously developed.

Up to now, 95% cotton yarn, 70% man-made fiber and 60% woven fabrics have to be imported and should be joined by Source ASEAN Full Service Alliance (SAFSA).

Vietnam's textile and Garment Association (Vitas) said that in addition to strengthening the management of product quality, price and value-added products, Vietnam still needs an industry alliance strategy, not only with domestic suppliers as an industrial alliance, but also with the ASEAN Association of all trades, so as to develop the global textile and garment supply chain hub in 2013.

In April 2010, the AFTEX began to promote the establishment of the SAFSA organization plan to lobby the ASEAN countries, the United States, the European Union and Japan to join in the attempt to establish a sealed online development system for product design, manufacturing samples, checking samples, confirming orders, supplying raw materials, launching production, shipment and shipping.
