Sales Of Footwear Products Increased By 44.5% In The First Half Of Compared With The Same Period Last Year.

According to data provided by Li Ning Co, sales of Lining brand surged 37.5% to 1 billion 870 million yuan in the first six months of this year, accounting for 98.2% of the group's total revenue.
The profit attributable to equity holders rose by 52.6% to 198273000 yuan.
The board recommended that the interim dividend be paid 5.76 cents per share (3.80 yuan in 2006).
Lining, chairman of Li Ning Co Ltd, said: "Li Ning Co has strengthened its core business in the first half of 2007 by maintaining good brand marketing, product research and development, channel sales capabilities and supply chain management.
With the professionalism and technology content of Li Ning Co, the sales volume of all kinds of products has been greatly improved.
In the first half of this year, sales of Li Ning Co footwear products increased by 44.5% over the same period last year, while clothing sales increased by 36.3%, while accessories products increased by 11.4%.
Li Ning Co, founded in 1990, is the first Chinese sporting goods company to list overseas.
