    Leather Industry Pformation Is Imperative

    In order to promote the healthy development of China's footwear industry and enable more Chinese shoe enterprises to go abroad and create 2-3 world famous brands during the "11th Five-Year" period, the 2007 China International Footwear Exhibition Co sponsored by China Leather Association and Hongkong Asia Pacific Leather Exhibition Company will be held in Shanghai in from September 5th to 7th.

    As Xu Yong, vice chairman of the China Light Industry Federation and chairman of the China Leather Association, said, "we should regard the annual China International Footwear Exhibition as the forefront of the display of brand and fashion in China's leather shoes industry, and use it as a window to show the design ability of the Chinese leather shoes enterprises and the international community to the counterparts at home and abroad.

    In the 2007 China International Footwear Exhibition, we will not only see leather materials with colorful patterns, different materials, unique design, beautifully made leather shoes, comfortable and exquisite shoe last products, but also see an international fashion corridor, and a number of enterprises jointly build the T show showing the trend of China's leather shoes in 2008.

    Exhibitors and exhibitors at home and abroad, visitors and exhibitors will be able to get the latest international shoe industry popular colors and fashion information, and also face-to-face exchanges and cooperation.

    According to Xu Yong, the exhibition will focus on "medium and high grade products, taking into account low grade, and taking foreign trade as the guide and taking into account domestic trade".
