The Art College of Inner Mongolia University is the only comprehensive art college in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its predecessor was the Inner Mongolia art school, founded in 1957. In 80s of last century, it became the national key secondary school designated by the Ministry of culture. It is an important base for the cultivation of National Art talents in the autonomous region.
