The Chinese language and literature specialty is one of the oldest schools in our school, and the earliest one with the strongest faculty.

In 1958, he began to run a junior college. In 1988, he started a bachelor's degree education program with Zhongshan University. 40 graduating college students continued to study in the undergraduate course. In 1990, they completed their studies successfully and obtained the bachelor's degree certificate from Zhongshan University. In 1990, they also started a joint course with Huazhong Normal University, and 27 students studied in this school for the first year. They went to Wuhan for second years to study. In 1992, they graduated with a bachelor's degree in Huazhong Normal University literature. In collaboration with 1993, they enrolled for the first time four year undergraduate students.

In 1995, Foshan University was officially enrolled in the name of Foshan University, and the right to bachelor's degree was granted in 1999.

Now there are 8 undergraduate graduates.

It is divided into two professional directions: normal and non normal.

The English language and literature major (undergraduate) was officially launched in 1996, and divided into two professional directions, namely, teacher training and non normal education.

In 2000, he was granted the right to grant bachelor's degree, and now has 7 graduates.

The major of art design (undergraduate) was established in 2001. Before 2004, it was divided into four professional directions, including decoration design, interior design, fashion design and product design.

In the autumn of 2004, the industrial design profession was officially established independently.
