At present, there are some differences in the recognition of clothing standards in the market. There are often some contradictions in the implementation of standards.

In my opinion, this is mainly due to the lack of necessary communication between standard users and the lack of thorough understanding of the standard technical content. In such a case, we can find our standard technology import unit to help explain.

The Secretariat of the national garment Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC219) is located in the clothing Research Institute of Shanghai. It has offices in the 8 floor of the research complex building, 988 Ping He road, 11, Moutai Road, Shanghai. It is responsible for the centralized management of our clothing standards and is responsible for the technical interpretation of the relevant garment standards.

At the same time, we hope that we can help everyone understand and understand the standard of clothing through standard propaganda and training, so as to avoid unnecessary divergence and contradiction in the implementation of standards.

This time, the propaganda training class organized by the Shanghai apparel industry association and the Secretariat of the national garment Standardization Technical Committee is very timely.

In the future, it will continue to carry out technical standards training for the garment industry, and hope that enterprises, shopping malls, technical supervision departments and other related units can participate in training and jointly carry out technical exchanges.

Reporter: what are the major differences between GB18401-2010 and GB18401-2003, which will be implemented in August 1st this year?

Xu Jian: Although the GB18401 standard is only a few pages, it still takes a lot of effort to read and understand.

The scope of application of the new GB GB18401-2010 is very clear. The range of products stipulated by it refers to the textile and clothing products sold in China, including imported products, but do not involve export products.

The main differences are:

(1) the new standard defines the definition of "infant" from "24 months or less" to "36 months or less".

In this way, for children's clothing production enterprises, the quality requirements of their products have been greatly improved. The clothes originally used for children aged 2 to 3 years old will meet the technical requirements of category A in GB18401-2010.

Production enterprises should adjust their management and technological requirements as soon as possible so as to meet the requirements of the new standards.

(2) for the production of non infant clothing enterprises, the main technical requirements of the new standard have not changed much, and the pH value of the new standard B products has been adjusted from "4.0~7.5" to "4.0~8.5".

But at present, the main problem faced by such enterprises is the use of GB18401-2003 on some product tags, which needs prompt and reasonable handling.

(3) in addition, the new standard for the determination of the carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes has increased the requirements for the examination of 4- azobenzene.

Reporter: I heard that you just came back from Beijing, but also for the implementation of GB18401-2010? Now many garment enterprises are very worried that the new standards will soon be implemented, but also mandatory standards, a large number of them have been sold in the market, and the implementation of GB18401-2003 standard clothing sales are endless?

We have noticed this problem and made some investigations and listened to the views of the industry.

This time I also made a special report to the leaders of the National Standards Committee and industry standardization leaders, and reflected the practical difficulties faced by garment enterprises in implementing the new standards.

At the same time, our national garment standard committee is actively cooperating with the competent department of industry standardization in drafting relevant applications, hoping to strive for a certain pitional period for the clothing products already sold in the market, so that the old products of the clothing enterprises will have a buffer space when implementing the new standards.

But we also explicitly request that the garments that are not yet listed must strictly enforce the GB18401-2010 standard. The products that have been circulated should be tested and verified according to the new standards, and the old products in circulation will be processed and assimilated as soon as possible.

Because even if the state agrees to extend the standard pition period for old products, the time will not be long.

At that time, products that do not meet the national mandatory standards will be banned from sale and enterprises will bear unnecessary losses.
