Wenzhou University International Fashion Institute

Wenzhou University has been designing fashion design since 1988.

In 2002, in order to actively respond to the strategic decision of the Wenzhou municipal government to build an international light industrial city, the International Clothing Institute of Wenzhou University came into being.

Relying on the booming garment industry in Wenzhou, the Institute has established the advantages of teaching hardware equipment, teachers and management teams in similar institutions throughout the country.

There are 6 associate professors and 12 lecturers, most of whom have postgraduate qualifications.

The design works of the teachers and students of the international garment Institute of Wenzhou University have won many awards in the costume design competition both at home and abroad, and won the sixth and seventh new people award and Education Award in two consecutive years.

In 2003, the China Institute of fashion designers ranked the institutions of higher learning in the field of clothing design, and ranked ninth in the International Fashion Institute of Wenzhou University.

In 1996 and 2002, the clothing design specialty of the international garment Institute of Wenzhou University was listed as the provincial and provincial key department in Zhejiang Provincial Department of education.

The newly built teaching and experimental building of the international garment Institute of Wenzhou University is more than 10 thousand square meters. The Institute has advanced clothing CAD/CAM rooms and various software versions, the latest stereoscopic cutting room of human body models, the high standard industrial board rooms, the leading computer sewing machine, the special sewing equipment, the hanging production line laboratory, the digital jet printing system, the world famous brand clothing multi-function demonstration hall, and the voice, multi-media classroom, photography darkroom and makeup room.

The college and the Wenzhou clothing trade association jointly organized the Wenzhou garment design technology research and development center, and established an off campus practice base with many large and medium-sized garment enterprises in Wenzhou, strengthening the ability of practical teaching and scientific research and development.

The Institute has conducted extensive academic exchanges with Italy's ISTITUTO MARANGONI, France ESMOD, New York Fashion Technology Institute (FIT), Hong Kong Polytech University, and other international fashion colleges, and established a collaborative curriculum relationship. Some teachers of Wenzhou University international garment Institute have obtained master's degrees in these institutions.

Outstanding graduates can apply for further studies and further studies in these institutions.

Professional teachers, invested nearly 40 million yuan in the teaching and experimental building of more than 10000 square meters of clothing college in the tea hill high education park, has the ability to accommodate 1200 people. It has the digital laboratory of clothing, the CAD/CAM laboratory, the hanging printing line laboratory, the digital printing and printing laboratory, the hairdressing and makeup laboratory, the imaging laboratory, the human body stereoscopic cutting room, the clothing craft room, the industrial board room, the multi-media classroom, the clothing demonstration multifunction hall, the language room, the specialized reference room, and so on. The experimental and teaching facilities worth nearly 5 million yuan are complete and complete, with complete functions and advanced equipment. The school of clothing now has 2 professors, 6 associate professors, 2 PhD candidates, 6 masters, and a number of part-time teachers.

So far, the college has sent 15 graduates to the society, with the signing rate and employment rate of 100%.

The clothing Institute always takes teaching as the center, educating people as the foundation, improving the quality of education and teaching as the goal, constantly strengthening quality control, deepening the reform of teaching management, improving teaching quality and enhancing the strength of running schools.

The teachers and students participated in many competitions in costume design competition both at home and abroad and won the prize. In the sixth and seventh China Costume Design Competition sponsored by the China Fashion Designers Association, the clothing Institute of Wenzhou University has won the highest award for two consecutive times, namely, the "new person Award" and "Education Award". In the "Beijing.2004 China International Clothing college teachers and students design competition" and "Beijing.2005 China International Clothing college teachers and students design competition", fifteen pieces of student works of Wenzhou University College of fashion were finalists and won the best prizes.

The clothing art design specialty has been listed as the provincial key education discipline and provincial key construction specialty by Zhejiang provincial education department.

According to the authoritative evaluation and ranking of the Chinese clothing designers' Association on the strength of the national clothing colleges and universities, the clothing Institute of Wenzhou University ranked ninth in 2003 and ranked eighth in 2004.

為進一步完善和創新教學體系，不斷提升辦學實力和教育質量，服裝學院按照“向國際水準看齊，向國內先進靠攏，向企業實際貼近”的思路，積極探索國際交流與合作的途徑和方法，切實加強與國內相關院校和服裝企業的橫向聯合：一是先后與意大利ISTITUTO MARANGONI、美國紐約時裝技術學院（FIT）、香港理工大學初步達成了學術交流和課程協作意向，進一步的工作正在進行之中；二是與溫州市服裝商會聯合組建了服裝設計研發中心，共同打造產、學、研一體化平臺；三是與浙江迪豐服飾有限公司、浙江卡丹路服飾有限公司共同組建服裝數字化專業實驗室，實現專業與產業、課堂與市場的“零距離”直通；四是積極承擔和參與直接服務服裝產業的課題研究，進行項目攻關，準確定位和充分發揮高校的科研和服務導向功能；五是切實加強與上述合作單位的人員互派、互
