The clothing department of Huizhou University is located in the scenic Jinshan Lake of Huizhou. It is one of the most influential clothing higher education bases in Southern China area. It has been committed to cultivating students' professional quality and practical ability for a long time. In September 2009, the Department of clothing design and engineering was approved by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance as a national specialty. In September 2010, the clothing design and engineering specialty was approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of education as the provincial specialty construction point. The clothing department now has a clothing design room, a clothing exhibition room, a clothing technology training room, a pattern making training room, a clothing material testing room, a clothing CAD training room, a knitting craft training room, a screen printing room, etc. the teaching room is superior, and has established a long-term and stable cooperation relationship with the famous clothing colleges and famous garment enterprises both at home and abroad. Many famous experts and entrepreneurs often come to schools to carry out academic exchanges and lectures, creating favorable conditions for students to learn, practice and employment, and the graduates are in short supply every year. College History


1985, we should set up Huizhou Asahi vocational school in the form of school enterprise cooperation.

1988, with the Quartet of Huiyang Teachers College, northwest Textile Institute, Guangdong Textile General Corporation and sun rising group, the Huizhou branch of West spinning was set up, officially recruiting students nationwide and developing clothing design and engineering specialist education.

In 1995, he jointly carried out undergraduate education in clothing design and engineering with northwest Textile Institute.

In 2000, it was upgraded to the Guangdong area, and the undergraduate education of garment design and engineering was carried out independently.

In 2000, he was selected as the national model specialty of higher vocational education.

In 2003, an undergraduate course in art design (Fashion Design) was set up to recruit students in Guangdong.

In 2004, he was granted the right to grant bachelor's degree.

In 2008, we set up an undergraduate course in art design textile art design.

In September 2008, it moved to the Jinshan Lake campus from Feng Hu campus.

The direction of garment engineering is to cultivate professional applied talents with innovative spirit in the field of garment technology and pattern design, clothing production and operation management. The main courses of this professional direction include: clothing design principles, garment production technology and design, clothing structure design, clothing production management, clothing quality management, clothing materials, clothing trade inspection and trade, clothing market and marketing, clothing plate making and placing code technology, clothing finishing, clothing CAD technology, etc.

The direction of knitted garments: training professional knowledge and practical ability of knitted garment technology and pattern design, knitted garment production and management, and applied high-level professional talents with innovative spirit. The main courses of this professional direction include: knitted garment design principle, knitted apparel pattern design, cotton production technology, clothing production management, clothing quality management, clothing materials, clothing inspection and trade, clothing market and marketing, knitting technology, sweater process design and production, knitted apparel CAD technology, etc.

Clothing trade and marketing direction: This professional direction trains the basic knowledge and practical ability of clothing management and management, grasps the business skills of clothing management (chain), and applies high-level professional talents who can skillfully use computers to engage in garment marketing and management activities.
