In order to let the participating enterprises better understand the current situation of China's cotton textile industry, Zhu Beina made a report on "vigorously promoting the application of new cotton textile technology, new raw materials and improving the added value of products". She said that in 2010, China achieved good results in the output, import and export of cotton gauze and its economic benefits and technological progress. Balanced development of import and export trade, scientific and technological progress has effectively promoted the structural adjustment of the industry, and the industrial regional layout has been further optimized.

After the rapid growth in 2010, the cotton textile industry in China started the year of "12th Five-Year". In the first quarter of 2011, the market of cotton textile industry showed a good overall situation. But since the middle of March, there has been a complex situation in the cotton textile market. In this regard, Zhu Beina said, "from the price of cotton textile raw materials and finished products this year, we can see that before mid March, the price of cotton yarn and grey cloth sold by raw material cotton and enterprises has maintained growth momentum, but in April and May, there has been a rapid decline, and the downward trend of raw materials is only slowing down in June."

Zhu Beina pointed out that, on the whole, China's cotton textile industry has a strong foundation for development, forming a relatively complete industrial chain, and its textile equipment has reached the world's advanced level. But China's cotton textile industry is still in a complex economic development environment, there are some problems and difficulties in the industry, and there are also some external factors impeding the healthy development of the cotton textile industry. At present, the cotton textile industry in China is facing the situation that the adjustment of macro monetary policy is frequent and the pressure of capital will be further increased. The appreciation of RMB and the international competitiveness are facing the test. The supply of energy or resources is tight or will restrict the production of enterprises; the burden of industry tax burden is heavy, the profit margins of enterprises are shrinking, and the shortage of manpower resources and downstream demand of technology and management is not good enough.

Promoting five new spinning technologies

Based on the above situation, the cotton textile industry of our country will focus on the two themes of scientific and Technological Development and sustainable development in the future, and intensify efforts in scientific and technological progress, industrial upgrading, structural adjustment, brand building, market development and efficiency enhancement. But these aspects are inseparable from the application of new spinning technology and new raw materials, which is a strong supporting point for the development of the industry. We must focus on guidance and make efforts to be realistic. Zhu Beina said at the meeting that the cotton spinning industry should focus on five new spinning technologies such as differential fiber processing technology, new ring spinning technology, jet vortex spinning technology, rotor spinning technology and automatic application technology.

With the advent of all kinds of new natural fibers and chemical fibers, the differentiation of fibers will become more and more obvious. The emergence of new fibers will also provide good raw material guarantee for the differentiation and individuation of textile products. At the same time, due to the limitation of land resources and insufficient supply of cotton raw materials, the market demand for non cotton fiber is gradually increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to study the different properties of different fibers, choose different proportions, study the related processes and related equipment or specialized parts in spinning process, and strengthen the development of differential fiber processing technology.

In the new ring spinning technology, we need to innovate the spinning method and yarn structure and realize the diversification of yarn products. According to the characteristics of yarn products, siro spinning, filament siro spinning, compact spinning and low embedded spinning technology should be combined. These combinations can not only make up for the deficiencies in the structure and performance of the products, but also create a brand new product system.

The air-jet vortex spinning produced by jet vortex spinning technology has the structural characteristics of air-jet yarn twisting core yarn, which reflects the smooth appearance of the ring compact yarn. Under the same gauze condition, the spinning speed is 16~20 times that of ring spinning. Therefore, popularizing the technology of jet vortex spinning is conducive to improving the production efficiency of enterprises.

The advanced rotor spinning technology has the functions of fixed length, electronic yarn cleaning, automatic joint, automatic quality on-line detection, winding tension automatic control and automatic dropping, etc. at the same time, the technology is also very suitable for spinning of regenerated fiber.

In the aspect of automation application technology, Zhu Beina pointed out that with the continuous rising of labor costs, enterprises should increase the pace of technological spanformation, vigorously promote the automation application technology, increase the length of spinning machines, automatic winding machines, and eliminate the ring spinning machines with high power consumption and low labor productivity.

In addition, the development goals of China's new spinning technology were also clear. At the end of 12th Five-Year, China's new spinning technology will achieve the goal of 4 million tons of new structural yarn, 2 million 800 thousand tons of compact spinning yarn, 400 thousand tons of air-jet vortex spinning line and 5 million spindles of low torque technology.

Focus on three new fibers

In the new situation, we need to focus on the development of new fibers in the new situation. For this reason, Cheng Longdi, a doctoral tutor of Donghua University, suggested that in the future, we should focus on the development of three new types of fibers, such as high imitation cotton polyester fiber, new natural cellulose fiber and new regenerated cellulose fiber.

Cheng Longdi said, at present, natural fiber quantity is relatively small, chemical fiber in recent years, a new force suddenly emerged, and in chemical fiber 80% of polyester fiber, but ordinary polyester fiber and cotton products in comfort compared to a lot of difference. Therefore, the high imitation cotton polyester fiber with good comfort and moisture absorption and sweating will have great market development space.

The new natural cellulose fiber has the comprehensive advantages of cotton and is basically close to cotton in performance. Fineness is more finer than cotton, but this type of fiber is brittle. Cheng Longdi analysis said that although this type of fiber is brittle, it will be an extremely powerful supplement to cotton raw materials in the next 5 ~10 years.

In an interview with reporters after the meeting, Cheng Longdi said that although the current situation is quite complicated, the demand potential of China's cotton textile market is still very huge, and the industry will also have broader development space. Therefore, he suggested that the majority of textile industry counterparts continue to develop new technologies and new raw materials, constantly innovate ideas, and increase research on new technologies and raw materials, thus further enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.
