The main reason is that these traditional elements are not fashionable and do not conform to the aesthetic of modern life.

    On the other hand, we should continue to exhibit intangible cultural heritage during the exhibition.

    At the 2009 China International Home Textiles and Accessories Expo, the appearance of "China's home textile intangible cultural heritage exhibition area" jointly produced by 14 intangible national cultural heritage projects, namely, brocade, Dong brocade, Suzhou embroidery, Nantong old coarse cloth, Shen embroidery, Nantong blue print, Miao batik, Lu embroidery and Qinghai Tibetan sheep carpets, has made many visitors feel the long history and culture of Chinese textile industry. It has found innovative direction for the original textile products in China's home textile industry for many years, and has also found a new platform and new way for industrial development of traditional crafts such as brocade, Dong brocade and Lan Yinhua cloth.

    He pointed out that the issue of intellectual property rights is a global issue, not unique to China, and must be clear.

    In recent years, in order to improve the enthusiasm of the enterprises in designing and developing, the Chinese textile industry has done a series of work in the field of intellectual property protection, and has made remarkable achievements. The most typical example is "Nantong experience".


    Since the 90s of last century, two home textile markets spontaneously formed in Zhihao and Haimen bridge in Tongzhou, Nantong, have gone through the tortuous process from piracy to self-conscious rights protection. They have set up the first nationwide Township and village level copyright management organization and the first professional market intellectual property court trial court, and have established a complete set of copyright management, protection and registration mechanism, which has led to the growth and strengthening of the two home textile market.

    The practice of the two home textile market has attracted great attention from the State Copyright Bureau and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

    In 2009, WIPO established Nantong as the world's first outstanding demonstration site for copyright protection. In July 9, 2010, WIPO and the State Copyright Bureau released the Research Report on copyright protection of Nantong's home textile industry.

    This is the first time that WIPO has conducted a special investigation and report on a specific region and industry in a country.

    The creative practice of Nantong has become a brilliant highlight of China's intellectual property protection.
