The Academic Lecture Series Of Beijing University Of Materials Science And Engineering Responded Enthusiastically.

Recently, as a series of academic lectures in the school of materials science and engineering, our school invited Professor Subhash Anand of Bolton University of England to give lectures on "Textile Materials and Products for Activewear and Sportswear" for teachers and students. The report was presided over by Zhao Guoliang, Dean of the school of materials science and engineering.

Subhash Anand is a professor of textile technology at the University of Bolton University in England. He mainly studies knitting and nonwoven technology, the application of ordinary knitted fabrics and nonwovens in clothing, home textiles and industrial fields, medical textiles, sportswear, thermal insulation fabrics, automotive textiles and so on.

The MBE medal, issued by the queen of England in 2008, has an important impact on the European textile industry and academia. It has published many academic papers in international journals and applied for a number of patents.

On the same day, Professor bhash Anand used sportswear as the research subject, and discussed the raw materials of textiles, including fiber, yarn, fabric structure and fabric finishing. It pointed out that clothing comfort includes three aspects: sensory comfort, psychological comfort and warm physiological comfort. The chart shows that the global consumption of non-woven fiber has increased rapidly in the past ten years, and China will be a huge market.

The professor also showed various samples of non-woven fibers.

After the lecture, teachers and students continued to ask for advice, and the atmosphere was lively.

It is reported that the academic series of lectures on materials science and engineering began in 2004, and lectures were held 20 times a year. So far, more than 100 well-known experts and scholars from abroad and home have been invited to be academic authority and academic leaders in related fields.

They carry out special lectures according to the characteristics of disciplines, introduce research frontiers, and increase the breadth and depth of knowledge.

The lecture condensed the knowledge and quality of experts and scholars, and conducted in-depth interaction between teachers and students, and conducted a more thorough understanding of the theme.
