Tang Minyi: in my view, it is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: the advantages of industrial cluster development are obvious. At present, there are 26 industrial clusters in Guangdong Province, such as Shaxi casual wear, Xiaolan underwear, uniform safety cowboy and so on. The industrial structure is complete, and the upper, middle and lower reaches are equipped with all kinds of accessories, design, research, production and sales through-train industry chain. The production volume is high, the sales volume is high, and the export volume is high.

Guangdong has always represented the cutting-edge of China's manufacturing industry. Similarly, Guangdong's clothing is also in the forefront of the whole country. What do you think is behind the high quality of Guangdong's clothing?

Tang Minyi: first of all, because of the geographical advantages of Guangdong, the design of Guangdong clothing is closely following the world trend. Secondly, the products are rich, Hong Kong and Taiwan style, European and American style, Japanese and Korean style, local characteristics, etc., whether it is brand or designer in these respects are very sufficient; finally, it is convenient to purchase, the advantages that have been formed for a long time have made people have inertia, Guangdong wholesale market is complete, low price, medium and high grade, complete and selective.

Foreign trade processing has always been an important part of Guangdong's clothing industry. China's accession to the WTO for ten years, Guangdong province's Foreign trade clothing How important changes have taken place in processing and export?

Tang Minyi: the international financial crisis has reduced orders for most of the foreign trade clothing enterprises in Guangdong, less 1/3 and 80% to 90% higher. In recent years, the strong development of garment industry in other parts of the country has brought unprecedented pressure to the foreign trade clothing industry in the Pearl River Delta region. Guangdong's export enterprises began to adjust their product mix, seek differentiated operation, and strive to increase the added value of products. In order to relieve pressure, many foreign trade enterprises began to break through on two legs, from simple OEM to independent brand transformation.

　 What is the direction and specific practice of Guangdong's garment industry structure adjustment and industrial upgrading in the future?

Tang Minyi: the dislocation development of the 26 industrial clusters: in the spatial layout, we should take the two central cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen as the leading bodies, develop the clothing industry headquarters economy and the fashion creative industry, make full use of the strong service function of the two cities, and establish the perfect industrial support system for clothing research and development, information, finance, intermediary, exhibition, media, logistics, etc., focusing on the development of high value added high-end fashion clothes and brand clothing, and become the national fashion center with international influence. Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhaoqing, Huizhou, Jiangmen, the seven sub center cities and 26 countries recognized the clothing industry cluster should give full play to their respective advantages, further do special, do special, strong, form distinctive characteristics of the industry, town and regional fashion center, constitute a bright star distributed on both sides of the Pearl River.
