Sarah: The Cost Of Getting Rid Of China Is Too High.

    Made In China

On the evening of 25 December, December, Sarah Bangee Ernie, a special economic correspondent in Louisiana, USA, faced the mess after the Christmas dinner. Suddenly, he realized that one thing from TV to tennis shoes to the Western lights on Christmas day and the Western doll on the floor was all made in China.

So she decided not to use "made in China" in her next year with her family.

This seemingly simple matter is painful.

First, Sarah wants to change his son's Chinese shoes.

In order to buy cheap products, she went to European discount shoes store, but because of bad business, the shop was closed.

As a result, the four year old son became the owner of Italian sports shoes with a price of $sixty-eight from a leaflet in a catalogue.

In addition, her son's friend's birthday party made her wallet thinner, because every time he bought Danish Lego toys as a gift.

Household appliances can't be repaired even if they fail.

Because the surface is "made in the United States", but the accessories are all Chinese products.

From helping a family living in the suburbs to catch the mousetrap of a mouse, to light the lights, birthday candles and firecrackers outside the house, it is difficult to find products that are not made in China.

After spending a year like this, Sarah came to the conclusion that Americans could not get rid of the "made in China" completely, so the inconvenience and cost they had to endure were too great.

Sarah collects these experiences and publishes the book "A Year Without Made in China".

She wrote in her book that she was not a trade protectionist. She and her family decided to compromise with reality. In the future, when shopping, Chinese products would be more practical than those from other countries.

She said, "I wanted to let China disappear in my life, but later I realized that China had already penetrated into my life, which surprised me.

    "
