The Famous Brand Of Shoes And Clothing Brand "Drug Related" Incident Pending.

Lining
A representative of a large number of famous brands at home and abroad has been pushed to the cusp of the product because of "drug related" - Greenpeace released the latest survey report shows that a number of enterprise products contain nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (NPE), which will be decomposed into nonylphenol (NP) rapidly after discharge, which will have an impact on the biological development of organisms.
In August 29th, reporters visited several large shopping centers and discount stores in Guangzhou, and the brand shop assistants who were reported to have mentioned that they were not informed about the drug related incidents.
As for Nike, Adidas and Lining official response to reporters, although not denied that the product contains NPE, but there is no immediate solution.
The poison of NP surfaced.
In July this year, environmental protection agency Greenpeace released a report that Nike, Adidas, Lining and other well-known clothing brand suppliers discharged environmental hormones to China's rivers.
In August 23rd, the organization also reported that in 4-5 months of this year, it had purchased sportswear in 18 countries such as China, the UK, Argentina and other countries.
Casual clothes
78 samples of 15 clothing brands such as footwear and footwear were detected, and 14 products were found to be defective. 14 samples of 78 samples contained a substance called nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether. The English abbreviation is NPE.
Public information shows that the so-called NPE belongs to a class of chemicals called "alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether" (AP) and "alkylphenol" (APEO), which are widely used in industrial washing and cleaning products detergents, in textile, paper making, metal processing, paint and coatings, pesticides and other industries.
Once NPE enters the environment, it will quickly decompose into a stronger toxic environmental hormone, "nonylphenol" (NP).
"NP is the world's recognized environmental hormone, even if the concentration of this substance is very low, it is also very dangerous."
Greenpeace reports that NPE is persistent and bioaccumulative, and it will take a long time to be discharged into the environment.
At the same time, NP also has the function of mimicking estrogen, so once it enters the organism, it will affect the normal reproduction and development of the organism.
Greenpeace requires the above brands to immediately commit themselves to eliminate and eliminate toxic and harmful substances that are used and discharged in their supply chain.
Sales end unknown "hormone" problem
In August 29th, reporters visited several cities including Tianhe City, outlets and China Plaza.
Large store
Nike, Adidas, Lining and other brand counter salesmen who have been reported to be named have indicated that they do not know the so-called "environmental hormone" problem, nor have they obtained any notice from their superiors.
In the interview with Ms. Wang, who buys new sports shoes for her son who is going to start school, she said that if this is a common problem, even if worry is useless, the market has been occupied by these brands. If you buy some unknown brand products, you will not feel at ease.
In some random consumers interviewed in Nandu, there are not many people like Ms. Wang who are worried and helpless.
Mr. Lin, a foreign employee in sports clothing in Zhonghua square, said that he would closely follow the response of the drug-related brand to this question, whether it is "sincere" and whether the solution is practical. It will be a new standard for his future purchase of products.
In fact, taking Nike, Adidas and Lining as an example, after the exposure of the problem, they all showed a "sincere" attitude and made a commitment to solve the problem.
But how to implement it? What is the timetable? There is no final conclusion yet.
No practical solution
Nike China sent a statement to reporters that in Greenpeace's report, the NPE level detected in Nike's clothing "has no known direct health threat to wearers".
The company has launched a sustainable chemical guidance project and listed a list of restricted items. NPE has been included in the latest restricted list and production restriction list.

In an interview with Adidas, the company said that the company promised to "achieve zero emissions of hazardous chemicals in all sectors of our industry and all supply chain systems" through various means.
Specifically, in the next seven weeks, Adidas will formulate and publish a joint roadmap to elaborate on the plans and measures adopted by the company with other brands to achieve zero emissions of hazardous chemicals in the sporting goods industry by 2020.
Lining official said that NP and NPE have been included in the chemical control list. Next, suppliers will be urged to strictly abide by this requirement.
"In the next 4 months, Li Ning Co will communicate closely with more than 200 suppliers, industry authorities, NGO organizations, and put forward specific implementation measures to achieve the goal of environment-friendly emissions."
It is reported that Li Ning Co will announce the results in the social responsibility report before the end of 2011.
