August Consumer Price Index Vietnam Clothing, Cap And Footwear Rose 0.79%

According to the General Administration of statistics, Vietnam's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.93% in August (2011) compared with the previous month (7). This is the lowest month of CPI in the year so far, up 15.68% from the end of 2010, compared with the same period last year.

After a slight decline of 0.06%, the CPI value of other goods and services rose, including food and food rose by 0.46% and 1.55% respectively, catering services rose 1.35%, beverages and cigarettes rose 0.55%, clothing hats and footwear increased by 0.79%, pportation costs increased by 0.21%, culture and sightseeing increased by 0.34%, building materials, rents, electricity, water and fuel costs rose 0.89%, furniture equipment climbed 0.51%, drugs and health services rose, education fees rose, other goods and services rose.
In addition, the price of gold in August increased by only 8.7% compared with the previous 7 months, but only last year.
Synchronization
Compared with a sharp rise of 47.63%, the price of the dollar was slightly lower than 0.26% in 7 months, only 8.64% higher than the same period last year.
