Among them, the largest share of exports to the United States, in the first 7 months, our province exported 16 million 950 thousand pairs of shoes to the United States and exports totaled 150 million US dollars.
This means that fewer than 20 Americans wear a pair in the first half of the year.

Among them, Yichun, Ganzhou and Shangrao become the main force of the footwear industry in our province.
Ganzhou Huajian International Shoes City Co., Ltd. is moved from Dongguan to Ganzhou. In the past 10 years, the company has developed into 20 production lines with an annual production capacity of 10 million pairs or more. The footwear industry of Shanggao County, with the annual production capacity of 10 million or more, has introduced the Baoji group, PEAK group and other international footwear giants. At present, it has contracted with more than 30 footwear enterprises. The Jiangxi Canton Yu Shoes Co., Ltd., located in Nanchang County, is the foundry factory established by Nike, the world's largest sports shoe manufacturer. The mountain city Lichuan has also made efforts to build a "Provincial footwear industry base", attracting the 20 shoe making and supporting enterprises of Da Chuan, Huatai, Xiangyu and Minchuan.
An industry insider said that Jiangxi has become the preferred place for gradient pfer in shoemaking industry.
The influx of a large number of shoe companies has increased the export volume of footwear products in our province.
Despite the rapid development momentum, there are still many unfavorable factors in the development of footwear industry in our province compared with the big shoemaking provinces.
At present, the shoemaking industry in our province is at the bottom of the international industrial chain division of labor, with the export of OEM as the main source, earning only low processing fees and lacking of independent brands, and shoemaking enterprises are relatively scattered, and the industrial cluster effect is difficult to play.
He Qing, a deputy director of the Nanchang Customs Department, said: "taking the capital Nanchang as an example, we have investigated two relatively large shoe making enterprises, and haven't seen the brand creation, design and development of the footwear industry.

Signs of cultivation and sales channels expand, and industrial pformation and upgrading are difficult.
Experts suggest that shoemaking enterprises should enhance their technological upgrading and reform, cultivate their own well-known brands and increase the added value of footwear products. At the same time, they should actively explore diversified export markets and domestic sales channels, disperse export risks, deepen cooperation with foreign retailers, and strengthen early warning and monitoring of international market conditions.
