On the same day, a seminar on "new materials and low carbon era" was held to explore the latest applications and contributions of non-woven fabrics in environmental protection.

Li Lingshen, President of China Industrial Textiles Association, Wang Yanxi, President of the Asia nonwoven material association, Zhao Yaoming, chairman of Guangdong nonwoven Association, Qiu Zhengzhong of Taiwan nonwoven trade association, Chi Chung Lam of Hongkong Productivity Council, Hu Junyan of Hong Kong Polytech University, new material group of Haidong Qinghua, and Secretary General of Hongkong nonwoven Association, participated in the discussion.

Distinguished guests were invited to lecture respectively on the status quo and development of the nonwoven industry in Asia, the status and development of the non-woven industry in Guangdong, the development of the non-woven industry from the perspective of energy saving and carbon reduction, the development of degradable artificial fibers, the environmental friendliness of shopping bags, and the separation technology and application of bag filter materials.

Li Lingshen explained the "12th Five-Year" development plan and related industrial policies of industrial textiles in Hongkong to the non-woven enterprises in the mainland, and introduced the work focus of the mainland's nonwovens and industrial textile industry associations during the "12th Five-Year" period: focusing on independent innovation, achieving technological progress; strengthening market demand oriented production and demand convergence; relying on backbone enterprises to speed up intensive development; improving the system as a means to strengthen platform construction; and taking policy support as guidance to promote industrial upgrading.

At the same time, Li Lingshen also expressed his desire to promote exchanges and cooperation with the Hongkong nonwoven association under the theme of "innovation, low carbon and environmental protection".

Yang is confident of the industry's prospects. He hopes that friends from both sides of the three Straits will join hands to strengthen solidarity and cooperation with people from all walks of life, and actively carry out industrial activities to make new contributions to the development of non-woven industry.
