Quanzhou Textile And Apparel Group Will Take Part In Textile Exhibition On Both Sides Of The Taiwan Strait.

Reporters learned from the Fujian textile and garment export base chamber that in early October, 70 textile and garment enterprises in Quanzhou, including Jinjiang's costumes and hay garments, will go to Taiwan to take part in the textile exhibition across the Taiwan Strait in 2011.

It is learnt that the cross strait textile exhibition and Taipei Textile Exhibition (TITAS) jointly operate with the local partners to share resources of customers and venues.

The Taipei textile exhibition started in 1993. It is the only professional textile exhibition in Taiwan. It is located in the procurement platform of innovative textile and apparel, and provides innovative concepts to meet the global professional needs of textile and apparel.

High added value, functionality and popularity are the biggest features of the TITAS exhibition.

According to the introduction, the Taipei textile exhibition area in 2010 was nearly 10 thousand square meters, attracting 22479 professional buyers from 41 countries and regions to visit and purchase.

Among them, overseas customers account for 12%, while buyers in Taiwan account for 88%. The main buyers include 33% of garment manufacturers, 12% of importers and exporters, 14% of department stores wholesalers, 8% of purchasing agents.

"Before many enterprises participated in the exhibition were single handed, the effect is not obvious.

In May of this year, our chamber of Commerce organized a group of enterprises to participate in the Middle East Dubai exhibition, and achieved good results. Enterprises have proposed to organize similar exhibitions. "

Chen Xiaobei, director of the chamber of Commerce of the Fujian textile and garment export base, said that the exhibition was also held in a group way to participate in the exhibition with the overall image of the base.

Chen Xiaobei said that the cross-strait textile exhibition was one of the overseas exhibitions which were mainly supported and nurtured by the Fujian provincial foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau in 2011. Apart from enjoying financial assistance from small and medium enterprises, the provincial offices will also give support to the Fujian Provincial Department of foreign trade and economic cooperation in accordance with the document issued by the Ministry of foreign trade and economic cooperation of Guangdong Province on the issuance of overseas key exhibitions in 2011-2013 years ([2011]5).
