Jinjiang'S Economic Strength Has Ranked First In Fujian County For Fifteen Consecutive Years.

Since the county was set up in 1992, Fujian Jinjiang, a poor and backward hometown of overseas Chinese, has been ranked first in Fujian for 15 consecutive years.

The reporter learned from the 15th anniversary celebration conference held in Jinjiang, Fujian on 8, that since the reform and opening up, Jinjiang has started from "three idle" (idlers, idle rooms, idle funds), and has made a pition from "three to one supplement" (processing of incoming materials, sample processing and assembly of incoming parts). It has stepped out of a way to build industrial clusters on the basis of private economy and industrial agglomeration, so as to develop industrial clusters and promote industrialization and urbanization.

The 15 years since the founding of the city are the 15 fastest years of Jinjiang's economic development and the most substantial benefits for the people.

In 2002, Jinjiang basically realized a well-off type of well-off society; in 2006, Jinjiang's economic strength was the first in Fujian county (city) for 15 consecutive years. It ranked the top of the country's top 100 counties, with gross production and total revenue reached 49 billion 200 million yuan and 4 billion 859 million yuan, respectively, 25 times and 28 times in 1991.

At present, Jinjiang has formed industrial clusters such as sports shoes, clothing, food, machinery and so on. It has become a well-known manufacturing base in China and won the reputation of "brand capital".

Yang Yimin, Secretary of the Jinjiang municipal Party committee, said that Jinjiang will speed up the promotion of industrial upgrading, enhance the capability of independent innovation, and strive to promote the pformation from traditional manufacturing to advanced manufacturing. At the same time, we should vigorously develop the third modern industries, such as headquarters economy, exhibition economy and logistics economy, and promote the development of new industries such as electronic information, new materials and equipment manufacturing.

Jinjiang is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese and over 200 overseas Chinese.

During the celebration, the 10th Anniversary Conference of the world Jinjiang Federation of townships will be held, and the World Youth Association of Jinjiang will be established. More than 1800 guests from overseas and 14 associations will gather to speak together.
