    Where Is The Next BELLE In The Listing Of Wenzhou Shoe Enterprises?

    The good news of the Chinese shoe industry has been good recently.

    First, in May, BELLE announced its listing in Hongkong and surpassed Gome, becoming the largest mainland retail listed company in the HKEx market in one fell swoop. In November, it broke the news of "1 billion 600 million yuan acquisition of the assets of the group." then it uploaded data from the first international footwear industry forum, which was just concluded in Dongguan City, Guangdong province. It said that the annual output of China's shoemaking enterprises exceeded 10 billion pairs in 2006, accounting for 68%% share of the world's annual output.

    But for both the industry and the industry, the vane of the former is obviously more concentrated. BELLE's listing is not only a symbol of the pformation of China's footwear market from industrial economy to capital economy, but also likely to lead to a tide of listing in the industry.

    According to statistics, Wenzhou footwear industry currently owns 21 brands of genuine leather labels, 7 Chinese brands, 29 famous Chinese trademarks, 57 national inspection free enterprises and 3 Chinese famous brand enterprises.

    In my opinion, the first-line brands such as Kangnai, AOKANG and red dragonfly have already had the conditions of listing, because they are the benchmark in the industry, regardless of brand awareness, R & D, productivity, product quality, channel control, or capital, sales network, talent pool and profitability.

    The lack of enthusiasm for listing may be related to the nature of Wenzhou people and the entrepreneurial atmosphere. Wenzhou people have a keen sense of smell, but at the same time they are cautious and low-key. Therefore, they have always been more concerned about industrial preferences and less concerned about capital operation.

    The problem is that the shoe industry can not tolerate the above situation for a long time.

    The intensification of competition at home and abroad has made Wenzhou's footwear industry face pformation and leaping, that is, to increase the added value and create new brand advantages instead of sticking to the past price advantage.

    That is to say, whether or not it is willing or not, Wenzhou shoe enterprises must respond to the challenges of globalization with the vision and concept of globalization.

    On the surface, BELLE's listing does not seem to pose a significant threat to Wenzhou shoe companies for the time being. Instead, the subsequent mergers and acquisitions will have the most direct impact. Wenzhou brand is famous for its men's shoes, and the same is true of the same. So the intensity of competition in the future can be imagined.

    But in fact, the merger is almost inevitable after BELLE's listing. For large enterprises, listing is the direction of their development, and the purpose is to finance and expand.

    Analysts once said that BELLE's IPO and M & A will have a profound impact on the competitive pattern of the decentralized footwear industry in China.

    If coupled with the turbulent social background of the global capital wave, BELLE's move is a bad news for Wenzhou shoe manufacturers who once won the lead in the domestic industry. The pressure brought by it is also unprecedented.

    Fortunately, BELLE brings Wenzhou shoes enterprises not only a severe competition environment, but also a sense and hope. The bosses of Wenzhou shoe enterprises have realized that only by means of listing, can the enterprises learn to operate capital in order to grow bigger and stronger, so that they can continue to survive in the market.

    It is said that the leading enterprises in Wenzhou footwear industry, AOKANG and red dragonfly, are making plans for listing, while other Wenzhou footwear giants such as Kangnai, Yi Kang, and spider king also make clear that they will pay close attention to their every move.

    It seems that the next BELLE will emerge soon.
