India Pays Attention To EU'S Exemption From Pakistan'S Clothing Tariffs

However, now that India decides to cancel the EU's objection to Pakistan's unilateral trade preferences, this decision will have an adverse effect on the overall textile industry in India. At present, the textile industry is struggling to maintain global market share. "
TEA asked the Minister of textiles to raise this issue at the appropriate forum, and opposed the EU's tariff free access to textiles and garments in Pakistan at the upcoming WTO conference, especially the export of clothing and knitted products, aimed at protecting the interests of the overall textile industry, especially the clothing and knitwear export industries, which provide millions of people with jobs and the number of jobs is second only to agriculture.
