China'S Second Tier Cities Have A Big Drop In Consumer Confidence Index.
Nelson, an internationally renowned market research firm, released the 7 China consumer confidence index in the third quarter of 2011 in Qingdao.
Relevant data show that China's consumer confidence level is generally stable, of which the second tier cities consumer confidence index slipped.

"Compared with other countries and regions in the world, Chinese consumers are relatively optimistic about future expectations."
Rao Kaixin, general manager of Greater China in Nelson, said consumers in rural China were the main driving force for optimism, while consumer confidence in urban areas was basically stable.

The confidence level was 104 points, down 1 points from the previous quarter.
The level of consumer confidence in rural China continued to lead, up 1 points from the previous quarter to 110 points.
Followed by the first tier and three tier cities, the confidence index is 101 points, and the four line city is 100 points.
Second tier cities' consumer confidence index dropped 5 points, to 96 points.

Above 100, confidence level is optimistic, and 100 below indicates relative pessimism.
Nelson research shows that from the perspective of consumer income, middle-income consumers have the highest confidence level, reaching 111 points.
Judging from the major cities, Guangzhou's consumer confidence is the strongest, reaching 109 points, up 3 points compared with the previous quarter.
Chengdu and Shanghai followed closely, with 100 points and 99 points respectively.
It is understood that Nelson's China consumer confidence report is the largest in such research, and it is obtained through continuous investigation of over 3500 consumers in China's first tier cities to rural areas.
