5 Leather And Shoemaking Enterprises In Jiaxing Are Facing A Cut-Off In Production And Production.

Reporters learned yesterday from the Jiaxing customs that the second batch of banned catalogue of processing trade was jointly announced by the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs in December 25th. A total of 589 customs coded goods were prohibited from processing trade.

This is the second major adjustment to the processing trade after the publication of Restricted Commodities List by the two sector in August this year.

According to the statistics of Jiaxing customs, there are 5 enterprises involved in the prohibition of commodities in the whole city, which will not have much impact on the processing trade in our city.

The head of the Jiaxing Customs Processing Trade Documentation Department told reporters that the second batch of prohibited catalogue of processing trade was mainly related to animal products, plant products, chemical products, plastics and their products, and aluminum products.

Some products containing endangered animals and plants are also prohibited, including leather products, animal hair and their fabrics, footwear and so on.

This provision has been implemented since January 21, 2008.

The processing trade business which has been approved by the competent commercial department and applied for customs registration is allowed to be completed within the validity period of the approval contract. The network supervision enterprise with unit management is allowed to be completed before December 21, 2008.

If the above business has not yet been completed, it will not be postponed, and shall be handled according to the relevant provisions of processing trade.
